The Cincinnati Reds are expected to call up their No. 4 prospect, Tyler Mahle, to make his MLB debut this Sunday.

Mahle, a 22-year-old right-hander, has split the year between Double-A and Triple-A. He made 10 starts at Triple-A Louisville, posting a 3-4 record, 2.73 ERA, and 51 strikeouts in 59 1/3 innings.

Team beat reporter Mark Sheldon called Mahle the "most consistent starting pitcher in the organization this season." Mahle's calling card is his command and control. He throws a lot of strikes and has a solid arsenal of pitches.
