They're the 3rd best team in the conference. Hopefully they get Capital one and play a good SEC team.

Unloaded on the Iowa team total over 24.5 and the over 45 for the game so it was a very profitable win as well....:D

Everything depends on the BCS as to where Iowa will be playing, but its an almost 100% certainty that it will be in Florida. Hopefully on New Years Day, but all Iowa fans need to cheer for Oregon to beat Oregon State this weekend.
Here is the likely scenario as of this mornings fishwrap...

Penn State is headed to the Rose Bowl. If Oregon State wins on Saturday, they go to the Rose Bowl and another BCS game grabs USC, which would send Ohio State to the to the Cap One Bowl.
But if OSU loses to Oregon and USC beats UCLA then USC goes to the Rose Bowl, the Pac 10 only gets one BCS bowl and Ohio State grabs a BCS berth.

Still with me?

If all that happens then the Cap One Bowl can choose from Michigan State, Northwestern or Iowa. They would most likely choose Iowa as the fans will flock to Florida for a New Years Day game--many more than what MSU would bring and Northwestern? Don't make me laugh....

So, that means Iowa is looking at going to either Orlando or Tampa and playing an SEC team on New Years Day.....

But hold on a minute---worst case scenario is that the Outback in Tampa takes Michigan State over Iowa--Iowa would then most likely fall to the Champ Sports Bowl in Orlando on the 27th.

If its the Champs Sports Bowl there is ZERO chance I'll be there--we don't get back from Puerto Rico until the 31st. We change planes in Atlanta on the 31st--any chance one of you guys can convince my wife that I need to divert myself from returning to Iowa on the 31st, going down to Orlando or Tampa and catching the game on the 1st and THEN returning home on the 2nd??
Didn't think so....:142smilie

Thanks--I followed it but sounds like the usual BCS BS. I put 500 on over 21 the 2nd half-easy money there. Well we will just have to wait to see how things go

Word out of East Lansing is that Tampa has already told MSU they would take them over Iowa. There is a chance the Cap One would take Iowa over MSU but as you know that would require an Oregon State loss.
