Are they that good? I know they beat Illni at Ill. But going from 1-10 to 6-1 or whatever they are. Just can't believe they are that good? Up date me on what you think and go Hawks. Thinking they can bet Purdue but wht about the rest of thier schedule.

I have watched almost every gopher game this year. They stop the run pretty well but get scorched through the air. The first few opponents were cream puffs. Ohio State was beating them 34 - 6 until they gave them 2 TDs in final 6 minutes. Illinois played an ultra conservative first half against the Gophs and they also turned the ball over several times on fumbles and batted balls. I like Purdue by 10
Not Reds but a hawkeye fan nonetheless. I would look more at their schedule than their record. Illinois is their only decent win, but Illinois is vastly overrated. That being said, I hope Iowa doesn't need a win going in to the dome later this year.
They arent a "6-1" team but they arent pitiful either. Illinois may be overrated but winning that game there is a huge win. The line smells like Purdue but Minny knows this is a winnable game and Brewster is an incredible motivator.
Sorry I didn't see this until tonight, Hawkeye. Think Sun Tzu nailed it here; Brewster is a great motivator and I think they get past a terrible Purdue team on Saturday. Might take OT to do so, and I don't advise wagering any $$ on either side in this game, but if you held a gun to my head I'd be on the Goofers rather than Purdon't....

Penn State better bring their A-game when they come to I.C. in two weeks--should be a good one--Already have plenty of people asking me for any tickets I might have--should be sending a few $$ your way after the game....
Why an under in Ames? Clones suck on both sides of the ball and A&M can't stop anyone....I think I'll pass on the total and play A&M plus the 3; if I can get 3.5 I'll hit it really hard....
Meant to type I am thinking about games beyond the Purdue game-could care about that game. Did not know who they lad left on their schedule.
