I saw some stats today-last year 25 td passes-this year--3!! Is it him or another new off coordinator-no receivers, etc., . I still feel he is going to have one super game soon? What's your thougths?

Think its a little of all those things, Hawkeye. He is not very good to begin with, the receiving corps is poor and I think they are still adjusting to the new O-coordinator, too.
I think they will have trouble winning the two more games they need to go 6-6 and play in some lame bowl game.
If they can get to 6 wins the word is they will probably play in a much better bowl game than they should seeing as 2 Big-10 teams are on probation....:facepalm:

Bowl Game?? No Way. How can a B10 team half way thru the year have to be playing is 6th and 7th team running backs--it seems every year all their rb's flunk out--get kicked out-leave or are injuried. I just don't see any good stuff out of the new offensive coordinator and now the offensive line is decimated by injuries. Stick a fork in them:nono: By the way where did KOK go? How is that freshman QB doing-any hints about him what thype of QB he is runner/thrower, etc.

Think the best thing for Hawks right now is to miss a bowl game this year and give coaching staff a chance to get their issues worked out. I just don't think they are all on the same page. Add mediocre talent, both lines are not that good and V-Berg.... Yikes. The kid is just constantly looking for that "big Play". If they could get him to recognize and take off ... he is a decent runner and could turn many of the sacks into 3-7 yard gains.
IF they win today. they get Aplington-Parkersburg in the next round of the 1 A state high school playoffs.
