WTH--I did nt get the game out here- What happened We finally get a head 31-24-then they scored missed 2 pt converson--then what next did they recover and oniside kick? What was the 15 penalty for? The they get an 8 yd gain for a shorter fg--without the 8 yd gaem it would have been a 55 yd fg. Its going to be long year. I thkught our def would be tuff--no one showed up the 1st half. Game was on Big 10 network..you don't have that channel? Time for DirectTV, bud...
They scored and went for 2, missed it and then tried an on-sides kick but they were offsides so they kicked it again...ball went right at an Iowa kid, and he froze and didn't jump on it....:facepalm: couple of plays later and their kicker line-drived a 47 yrd kick for the win. They may not win another game all year--that is one shitty football team--they lost to a crappy MAC team!!
If Ferentz was any kind of man, he'd resign tmrw...but he is signed through 2020 so get used to this as I don't see it changing any time soon. NO talent anywhere on this years squad...its a MAC-level team and it even that is being generous...they suck and its not debatable....:facepalm:
But how do you really feel:lol: I have direct TV but when I first looked it had anohter game on? My brother said the kids thought they heard a whistle blow on the 2nd one and quit-they repalyed the play on tv and you could hear a refs whistle? Anyway they should never be behind in the 1st place vs a team like that. What was the 15 yard penalty about that bascially came on 3rd down and put them in fg range? Is Bullock going to be back?
I watched replays of th 15 yd penalty--stupid on the kids part but cheap call--how could they miss the CM kid shoving him 1st??
The Iowa game was on the alternate Big 10 network channels on Saturday, Mark....wished I'd have been home to change the channel rather than sit through it live...:facepalm:
One more this week and I'm not going to Penn State--I don't do night games at Kinnick anymore...:nono: then over a month before they are back and may not go to those games depending on what the weather is like....:142smilie
the officials were terrible on Saturday--for both teams--and that personal foul call at the end was just the worst of a bunch of bad calls--the kid that they called it on owned up to it and said he deserved it but that the CMU kid wouldn't let him up after he pancaked him so thats why he got chippy and of course one of the 7 blind mice saw that instead of the 1st foul...ugh. a long year ahead of us with no light in the tunnel that I can see.
Don't know about Bullock's status for Saturday..maybe something later in the week? :shrug:
