For anyone that would like to comment about how playing big favorites is dumb or any other similar sentiment, please do us all a favour and just don't.

These are not meant to be played as individual bets. These are meant for ML parlays. If you don't bet hockey, or you don't play parlays, then guess what? This post is not for you, and you can just continue on your merry way. If you insist on commenting, the only thing you accomplish is to erase any ambiguity regarding your stupidity.

Anyway, maybe you should make the 1st two paragraphs above into a "tag line" so you don't have to keep saying it every post? Sorta like SCS in baskets has a tag line to explain why he doesn't post a line with his posts. I guess he just got tired explaining it a zillion times.

Actually, I've used your kind of "strategy" for a long time, tho not exclusively. At present I am taking some judicious goodly favs and parlaying them with Indy for the Superbowl. I've got about 7 bets lined up now as winners with the Colts on the tail end on the moneyline. There was also one loss in there but not too big a deal since the loser was a parlay and no big juice risked. What this does it to give me Indy on the ml and the chance for a middle come gameday when the line climbs to maybe -7.

I do get what you are saying, and also why you target hockey. In hockey it is seldom wrong to back a good dog. But if you want to bet favs, then you need some assistance to "reduce the juice" (this is a common phrase heard in sports betting circles, rightly or wrongly).

Maybe I could be proven wrong by a statistician and I would look at the math. But this character who is stalking you really needs to find a girlfriend. Unfortunately, you would have to explain to him that girls are those humans with bumps on their chests and who don't have dicks for him to suck. :142smilie

BTW...you actually write English like someone who understands grammar...which is why I am giving you the benefit of the doubt! Good luck and I'm hoping you are not barking up the wrong tree.

I have gone ahead and copied the first two paragraphs into my signature. Thanks for the great idea.

I absolutely LOVE Indy to win, and I too am planning on playing a few parlays with Indy ML. Good for you that you've already got a few front-ends out of the way, and you are absolutely right to look for a middle, maybe even wait until half-time and if Indy is up big, you might get a lot more then just a 7-point middle.

As for my stalker, nothing more needs to be said. Any rational and half-way intelligent person can clearly see the guy is an idiot, and his own words condemn him more then I ever could.

And yes, you would think that asking for basic grammer at a minimum 3rd-grade level would not be asking for much, but unfortunately, experience shows that you would be wrong. Oh well, what are you going to do?
