Well as always the talent is the best in the world out here in the valley for 2 of the top if not the top aau tournaments each year. From checking out players and games so far ohio.st fans you have some players who will be signing as soon as they get back home for the start of their hs season and you will be loaded for bear the next few years or at least till the guys are old enough to sign the nba line, you would not see a few of these guys if nba did not change the age limit, but ohio.st the next few years will be a power house remember i said that in hoops.
Best players i have seen by far has to be 7 foot 1 solid muscle player who can shoot and cleans the glass better then windex in Greg Oden, Oden is the best I have seen out here since i brought up L.james as a jr and said right on this form why i was sitting with a lakers scout who said at this time in his life he is way ahead of kobie also said he was going to go early to nba and i was laughed off the form by all except a few people who had seen him play as a soph in the ohio area at least 10 people said he would be ate alive when i said he wanted to play in the nba after his jr year and as his jr year in ohio started you started hearing and knowing the name L.James so i am telling you remember remember greg Oden and the others i have listed below for future nba stars.
Next in no order from team memphis andMitchell hs in Tenn is Thaddeus Young 6-8 player who can play inside and outside he will make a great forward who has his eys set on ohio.st with unc and uccon memphis fans don't be to sad he said monday after his team who should of won it all but got upset sunday said he could just as well stay home and play and play he can. And where ever the sr to be goes to college he will be a impact frosh as will all these players on this list.
Usc fans could be happy looks like 6 foot 7 inch chase Budinger is leaning your way this guy has springs in his feet . He is from Carlsbad CA also looking at ucla and az. he can play in the back court of front court and still is growing. if you live close to La Costa Canyon high would make the time to check him out as the other 2 players I have named above, to bad i won't see Young play any more this year as team memphis was a surprise upset victim on sunday you will be able to see the champions from these tournements play the finals on espn and a all-star game to follow. Still have Oden and Budinger playing as well as many more top prospects these are just a few who have really stood out s far in the many games i have seen and off in about 30 for a full day and night of the best of the best as it all raps up today and tonight.
With over well over 600 aau teams here in the valley you really get to see the best of the best and the upcoming stars and ones who might be under the radar but turn into stars with little more time and work, The many players out here year after year is just a great sight to watch , and you have almost every ncaa coach to juco coaches and nba scouts out here and they are just like anyone else no special treatment they sit in the stands dressed down in shorts and tees and baseball hats of a team they don't even coach a few where the school coaching polo but for you big time D1 coachs they are alwats dressed down and most sit up top in corner away from all the fans where they can see it all and be left alone. This is one of the things that is a good part of being in this shit town is 1 time a week in the summer I get to watch the best of the best and have seen many turn into pro stars in the almost 10 years I have been here.
so if you get a chance and live by these high schools that i listed check out these young men if not you will see them on the ncaa floor soon and then on to the nba. Atlanta celtics who with team mich are power houses year in and out seem to have lost a step this year, it is just the amount of talent that is out there in hoops across the country.
later time to hit the gyms for the rest of the day and night.
