NUMBERS have been up for a few days:

I can post what I noted first time I looked at them this evening.

STL has dropped from 87.5 to 84, Wainwirght of course.

NYY up 91 to 91.5

Interested in others thoughts, I will add to this thread myself as we close in on the start of the season. G/L

GENO,

Coming from Beantown you got a lot of people (including their own players) calling for the BoSox to win 100+. At the end of the day, if you look at the numbers, it happens about 2x every 3 years.

From the outset. This team is stacked. Still, I think 95 is a solid number.

My friend and I bet the o/u every year, and set both the Sox and the Bombers at 95. Anything over Sox I owe him a buck, and vice vers. Most of the time it cancels out.

91.5 seems steep for NY, but they definitely can get their with the lineup they have.

If i HAD to bet those, I'd go over Bombers and Sox.

Nats over 71 looks enticing...

Will play the Royals Under 68.5. They posted 67 wins last year and did nothing to improve their offense. They lose Greinke in the arms department and Hocheaver is projected as the opening day starter.

When you have only one guy that is projected to hit over .300 and none of your starting pitchers are likely to have a sub 4 ERA, it is going to be one long year.

GOOD STUFF GUYS, thanks for the input, I had to help my son tonight with moving a dishwasher so am gonna work on those early numbers later.

MY BASE wager for this type play is ALWAYS 2% of committed bankroll for the season for this sport.
THESE WILL ALL BE BASE WAGERS unless otherwise noted:

03/31/2011 @ 04:05 PM MLB [11326] TOTAL u69?-125 (KANSAS CITY RSW vrs ROYALS RSW)
Poon I agree and got a nice number with extra juice.

03/31/2011 @ 04:05 PM MLB [11352] TOTAL u83?-115 (ST. LOUIS RSW vrs CARDINALS RSW)
Wainwright out for season lost some value in number gonna roll with it anyway, thinking a new big contract for Pujols may soften him a little also. If free agent he may press. 86-76 last year let's see how this works.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I do not like the Yankees going over for a couple reasons. C.C. is the only reliable starter to start the season. All the others can get smoked.

I think that lineup is a bit old and Jeter not what he used to be. Yeah A - Rod and Tex and a few others but I think Baltimore will be better and take some wins away. Boston is going to be the cream of the crop IMO.. Think the Yanks could get over but a couple of set backs and they have no chance. With the starters and older lineup and think they will set back.

Side note.. The bullpen is awesome though.
