The very same reason some people like ketchup on a hot dog and others find it sacrilegious.

This should make you think.

I think I cannot understand why more intrusion and control in our lives on every level, with more spending with bigger government and regulation is what an intelligent person thinks this country needs.
The govenment can do nothing right. Yea it makes me think.

Same old Fox news and nitwit neo-con radio garbage and u regurgitate it like the good little pigeon that you are. Turn off redneck radio for ten minutes and try to think for yourself. Every claim u made is utter bullshit. Where is all this spending u are talking about? Where is the bigger gov't? The real facts are that OBama has spent less than every president up to Eisenhower. Gov't is less not bigger. I know you don't hear this stuff on Fox so maybe it is time to find another source.

Under a mask.
No Boob, just you, Ray, Skul, and Hedgie agree on the horrific four year thing. You are all alone on the "fourth party" thing. No worries though Boob, if you aren't used to being alone with your views, you soon will be.

Hope that helps,
FDC

Just curious, do you not have a coloring book or some sidewalk chalk to keep you busy?

I agree:shrug: and I helped vote him in:facepalm: :s2:

Lets look at just one area.

Gun Control

What about Health care, have your costs gone up? Did anyone show up at your door asking for money to give to the lazy? How about your job? Did you lose it and can't find another one, did you not get the same tax relief the rest of the citizens got?

OR

Are you assuming all these horrible things are going to happen and you are just preparing for it all?

Now I can tell you how the last REPUBLICAN negatively impacted my life if you really want to get into that!!!!!

Fuel prices wouldn't trump the killing of innocents in a fake war prefaced on lies and deceit.

You guys are all so full of shit, you just like to complain about how bad you might have it and not one fucking free thinker in the group. Not one. Sad really.

Hope this helps,
FDC

What about Health care, have your costs gone up?

There are really too many stories on this issue to quote here. If you want to name a state, I can get you evidence...a sample of 2012:

Oregon: individual healthcare premiums predicted to go up 38%...for employed people, 4%
N. Carolina: Blue Cross filed for a 10% across the board increase
Mass: up 6-7% year over year added to already the highest costs in the country (Romney-ites can weigh in on that one)
Illinois: cuts state Medicaid by $1.6m due to costs

BTW: Insurance premiums...what you and I pay, are based on contract negotiations with providers and those negotiations are based on costs.

Did anyone show up at your door asking for money to give to the lazy?

15% of Americans get food stamps...the highest number ever
Since The Obama took office, welfare spending has increased 41%
The federal government spends $668b (that is billion) on welfare and, if that is not enough for you, the states spend another $284b.
No one shows up at your door (yet), they take it from your pay check, at the gas pump, in the grocery store, when you fly, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

How about your job? Did you lose it and can't find another one,

Unemployment is 8.3%...do you really need an explanation of what that means, the trend or the current direction? And that is WITH the stimulus

Did you not get the same tax relief the rest of the citizens got?

The economy is "growing" at 1.2% and The Obama wants to end the tax relief you are talking about and plans another stimulus.

You don't have to reply telling me all of the good things about The Obama and bad things about Romney...the point is both are fool's gold. Jaxx is exactly right regarding intrusion. Once we rely on the government for everything we get, the government controls our lives. As simple as it seems, not being able to buy a Big Gulp in NYC is just indicative of where our society is headed.

None of these facts came from Fox News by the way. Bad things are not going to happen to us...they are happening to us right now.

Any other questions?

KOD...nothing has happened on gun control because it is not politically expedient to do something. That would be true for both parties and that is reflective of the fact that neither party really has the interests of the country in mind. (we need term limits as a starting point)

The Obama didn't do anything on immigration or gay rights for three years until re-election time. Romney's stance on the issues sways more than Barney Frank at a Saturday night Fire Island big brother BBQ.

Will either one of them make your life better?

Ummmm, do you know what the word "predicted" means? Do you even read what you write? So because Blue Cross was attempting to increase profits due to "predicted" cost increases and ultimately did not receive that rate hike that you are so crazy about quoting, you call that evidence? People on food stamps is the highest it has been in the three years since President Obama took office? Yeah, so? Every statistic will have a high and a low within a certain time span, so you can read a bar graph? How much of YOUR money did you give to provide food stamps for those that are on them compared to what the EXACT funds you spent on them in this time frame under G.W.? The question is how are YOU DIRECTLY affected? You don't give to any charities, you don't feed the poor or homeless. Shit you don't even read the shit you write.

I have never seen anyone that fails so completely at addressing the question as you. It is mind boggling how you and Ray absolutely miss every point every time.

I have an idea, post your last eight tax returns and let's see how bad you have it. Then again, you have to have filed for the last eight years to do that so this is probably a long shot huh?

Hope something helps because you definitely need some,
FDC

p.s. Make sure to answer with another hysterical witticism on my tutor and my longtime friend, because Lord knows it has worked wonders for you so far.

Good question Tramp and yes I did lose my job a year ago to layoff. Our company had 135 employee's in 2007 and 35 at my time of layoff. I think his handling of the economic mess has only exacerbate the situation and is not getting better. Funny thing is I have since got my job back due to an influx of spending by the government on road projects in the state of Florida.
:142smilie
How long that will last is yet to be seen. The private sector is still dead in the water with no uptic in sight. Get in line for you government handout.

So, let's see now - you have a job because of the Stimulus spending which you are opposed to? Is that right?

You could give Sean Hannity stupid lessons.

I knew that was coming. But that is where I am at. Not opposed to the spending directed at the right points of injection. Yea billions went to all the wrong places and finally some of it has trickled down to some job creation here in Florida. Government handout style. Just where they want you. Very appreciative to have a good paying job in this economy. As I stated the private sector is flat as hell and has been for 4 years. No change in sight. Appreciate you calling me stupid. I would expect nothing less. Sponge got the redneck jab in what ever that means. Carry on.

jaxx,
Do you really think Obama has effected your life in a negative way?

Has this administration not effected yours? Do you have a govt job by chance? Surely if you worked in the private sector the state of the economy would have effected you in some way.

As for those like myself who work on 100% commission we have taken a big hit. Through 7 months I am making around 2 to 3 thousand dollars less a month than I did two years ago. And I have lost ZERO business. In fact I have grown it. My business depends on people buying and spending money and they just dont have it.
If the trend continues its basically a 30,000 dollar a year pay cut. I always thought the medical industry was recession proof but it is clear I was wrong.

My wife is a Bio Medical Engineer with Orthofix. Even with her very specialized degree she is in danger of losing her job. Orthofix is cutting more and more people every month. Her research team has gone from 7 people to 2. Basically its just her and her boss. The rest were let go. Her company also could not give her or others their annual raises at the beginning of the year. Rumor has it they are about to move the entire operation overseas.

So yes my family and I have been effected.

But look at the positive side. Less money gets us out of that 250,000 tax raise...

Typical whiner.

"I hate the Stimulus!!"

"Gimme more Stimulus."

I remember you from last year, the whiner who couldn't find a job in Florida even after I sent you a list of 60,000 job openings in Florida.

Don't see how you can debate the insurance issue.Used to be 100% coverage for most, now its 4,000.00 per year + accross the board(unless you are a gov't. employee)That's alot of money being taken out of households.

That is not true. Most employees have been paying a portion for many years.
