Under a mask.
That is not true. Most employees have been paying a portion for many years.

Maybe, but pt. is a company giving 100 % coverage just doesn't happen anymore.I guess I was one of the lucky ones who at one time had it.

I also know others who once had it.100 % coverage is no longer an option which makes it tough on the american people.

Typical whiner.

"I hate the Stimulus!!"

"Gimme more Stimulus."

I remember you from last year, the whiner who couldn't find a job in Florida even after I sent you a list of 60,000 job openings in Florida.

My apologies for including you in my mind as part on the intelligent individuals on the left in here. You just discounted that assessment as usual. Remember now you in the faction of the clueless with the internet job listing. People are hurting in Florida and you are dismissing it as whining. You sir are a piece of work for sure. You are as bad as posters on here at the other end of the spectrum. Carry on with your drivel.

Has this administration not effected yours? Do you have a govt job by chance? Surely if you worked in the private sector the state of the economy would have effected you in some way.

As for those like myself who work on 100% commission we have taken a big hit. Through 7 months I am making around 2 to 3 thousand dollars less a month than I did two years ago. And I have lost ZERO business. In fact I have grown it. My business depends on people buying and spending money and they just dont have it.
If the trend continues its basically a 30,000 dollar a year pay cut. I always thought the medical industry was recession proof but it is clear I was wrong.

My wife is a Bio Medical Engineer with Orthofix. Even with her very specialized degree she is in danger of losing her job. Orthofix is cutting more and more people every month. Her research team has gone from 7 people to 2. Basically its just her and her boss. The rest were let go. Her company also could not give her or others their annual raises at the beginning of the year. Rumor has it they are about to move the entire operation overseas.

So yes my family and I have been effected.

But look at the positive side. Less money gets us out of that 250,000 tax raise...

And you blame this on Obama? My question is what decision has the President made that has effected your life.

Affected...........damnit.........that was driving me nuts man.....sorry........not directed at you TU.

"Affected" means "impacted, created an effect on".

"Effected" means "executed, brought about, produced something."

Example: The BP oil spill adversely affected marine wildlife in the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding areas.

After the BP oil spill, the government effected (brought about, executed) sweeping environmental regulation.

I see you added some stuff. I know what the difference is. I just typed that in a hurry. But I am part of the grammar police so I accept my mistake.

Thought I explained this.. I wouldn?t say decision but decisions. I can sum it up in one word
ECONOMY

Here I will use his own words.

?I will be held accountable,? Obama said. ?I?ve got four years and ? A year form now, I think people are going to see that we?re starting to make some progress, but there?s still going to be some pain out there ? If I don?t have this done in three years, then there?s going to be a one-term proposition.?

As a sales guy I depend on people spending money. In this economy patients do not have money to spend. My doctors say their business is down over 30% the last two years. I get calls every week from them asking me to comp products because one of their patients is unemployed..

And on top of the shitty economy patient deductibles have skyrocketed. They doubled starting in 2010. So a patient who needs a 800 dollar knee brace but has a $5,000 dollar deductible is going to say NO THANKS! They have less money to begin with.
I wont even go into all the med products that are not covered by medicare anymore that cost our company money. Standard stuff that is needed like bone growth stimulators, post op knee and shoulder braces and ice machines. NONE of it is covered by med care anymore as of last year so our company misses out on those billing dollars. Try having rotator cuff surgery without ice and a shoulder sling and let me know how that feels.

My wife may lose her job because her company is going to pack up and move over seas.... Why? Because 1. They are being taxed to death and 2. because the weakened economy has affected their revenue streams.

Obama said he was accountable and so I am holding him to it.

Thought this was interesting:

Or this: (March 2006 - B. Obama)
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its
own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies.
Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally.

Leadership means that the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.

America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

How can you not be mad as an American, regardless of your political stripes, when these asshats say one thing, do another and it does not matter if they are R or D?

Those are not the usual reasons a company moves jobs overseas. I know, because I was part of a team which moved 22,000 jobs from Massachusetts to Taiwan.

Taxes were a minor issue, and sales were strong.

However good quality labor was available for less than 10% of USA wages.

22,000 employes, reduce their wages by 90%+, it was a no-brainer.

Don't let anyone tell you that it's EPA regs, OSHA regs, taxes or anything else except the huge bottom line savings by going to slave-labor wage countries. Do the numbers, everything else is peanuts.

Why do you think you hear "Hello, this is Hewlett Packard New Delhi."

Sponge:

I should have made my post clearer.

The quote is from Obama.

My line at the bottom is to vote for Gary johnson 2012

It looks as if I attribute the quote to him and I am sorry that it was misleading.
