Sponge:

I should have made my post clearer.

The quote is from Obama.

My line at the bottom is to vote for Gary johnson 2012

It looks as if I attribute the quote to him and I am sorry that it was misleading.

Can I ask why it seems that the main posters in this forum that lean to the right refuse to address the President properly?

I am very well aware of all the bs I had to listen to about G.W. and "respecting the office" when he was in and standing on an Aircraft Carrier in front of a sign that said Mission Accomplished while soldiers continue to die? Why is it ALWAYS so one sided with the right? Why is it that the very things they railed for then are exactly the same things they don't do now?

Did anyone hold G.W. accountable for the economy when he was in?

Hell, if the economy is so bad how did Willard get so much richer in the last three years?

Hope that helps,
FDC

Fatdaddy.

1. I am a libertarian. Fiscally conservative, socially liberal.
2. When Obama said it, March 06 - he was not the President.
3. He has done nothing to earn MY respect.

That is fine man but it still doesn't change anything as far as the hypocrisy of it all. Maybe not from you but the office has earned your respect and you are a citizen of this country right?

He is President now but that's fine. Call him what you want I guess. I have a different opinion on the matter.

Thanks for showing how mathematically challenged stupid marxists are. The debt on the day that Obama assumed office was $10.6 trillion. Today, it's $15.8 trillion. My calculator shows that to be a 49% increase to date. Obama borrowed more in 3 years than did Bush in 8 years.

The amount is critical and the ratio of debt to GDP keeps rising.

The government doesn't own GDP, so you can't count it as income. The government's income is $2.5 trillion, so it's income to debt ratio is 1:6. According to your figures, a 1:2 ratio is serious trouble.

"Grow your way out of it" doesn't work and never has in the last 30 years. Debt has increased more than GDP has every quarter since Jimmy Carter.
