I don't know what you are throwing or how much you turn the ball but deep inside is where its at....

This guy turns it quite a bit more than I do. Honestly, I don't think it matters. If you watch where his ball turns to face the pocket (at the last lane marker) is where you want to get the ball. When I shot that last game of 246 I was standing around 33 looking 18. I actually tugged one over 20 and it just sat there and ripped the rack. I'm almost certain if you leak it out the slightest bit it will be gone though. The 10 pin I left in the 10th went over the 17 board and it was a flat 10. The first 9 frames that game were absolutely packed. The 9 count in the 4th was a buried stone 8 pin.
I shot decent in doubles and was standing 23 looking 12. But as you know accuracy was everything. If I missed, it was junk. When singles started, that line broke down hard and I just couldn't get it there anymore. Fiddle fucked around for almost 2 games trying to force it in there from outside until I took a walk and looked for someone who was killing it and they were playing that deep inside line. Went back to my pair in the 10th of the second game, moved 10 and 6 off of where I was playing, buried the first 2 and lit it up the last game. Man I wish I had that match over again. I was throwing a Brunswick NeXXXus for added info.
Good luck out there fellas.

If I played that deep I'd break my wrist!!

I'll move a bit to the right and slow my ball down.
When I play that far inside I leave a 100 10-pins so I'll have to figure something out.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting the video and the information about the shot, Pasprint.....:toast:

I'm with Nole on this one; I'd break my wrist throwing it like that.

I play a tight and deep shot here at home, as Nole says, I'll slow it way down and see where I need to move as the series go along...

Bowling a St Patricks day tourney tonight. Took 4th last year in singles with a 756 and we were 6th in doubles with a 1421.
Team we were 3rd with a 3145.
Over 100 teams entered last year; hope we do as well this year as last...:0008

Really great little ball park. I went to a game at the beginning of the 2012 season and Mike Trout let off with a home run (for the visiting Angels affiliate). Barely knew who he was at that point.
Friendly staff, clean amenities, and within walking distance of Virginia st.
Cheap nachos too. :0008

Bad photographer warning:

Spending less than 48 hrs in Reno this time out; Vegas and lots golf the rest of the week, but will check out a game when we are back out in 2016.
Saw a game in Albuquerque a few years ago-- game ended up 14-9.... Have to love high altitude minor league ballparks.....:toast:

I am thinking I would start right in the middle and roll the ball straight. That way nothing grabs your ball and it just goes straight?

When he walks over into the next lane, it is a foul. Same as stepping over the line. He should have shot a 290 game.

Not quite as nice as last year; 678 for me, 718 for my doubles partner, 3095 for the team.
Scoring was down a bit from last year but not so low that I'll cash as well as I did.
Got off to a nice start-- I rolled a 268 and my doubles partner started with a 279.....:scared
