Rental Car Question......

just reserved my vehicle for Vegas, and went ahead and booked a MiniVan rather than a luxury car, as it was cheaper, and holds more. Have never seen an over abundance of minivans on the rental car lots in Vegas. In the event that there are none available with the company (which happens often, and they give you a free upgrade) ......

anyone know if they would upgrade based on # of people that it would hold, OR just next step up in price?

(curious if they would have to go up to SUV with confirmation number) or if they could downgrade in size yet upgrade in price by going Luxury.

Since "we" fly free

Since "we" fly free

& have for the past 13 years. We have used rentals on many occasions.
The upgrade will be a "class" upgrade.

Also I'm advising others to contact Sunset Station cause from what I understand the airport shuttle is NO longer after Super bowl sunday.
(just in case some are counting on it)
Maybe the Casino can make other arrangements.

See ya soon

don't understand what you mean by *class* Lanny :( that was the part i was curious about.....the minivan was WAY down the list in things that seemed to go *up* in class, yet was quite a bit cheaper than the luxury????? (which was the part that confused me) :(

and WOW, in regards to your shuttle comment...when i saw that in the other thread, thought you were referring to the strip shuttle, they would be biting themselves in the butt if the stop the airport shuttle!!!

After SB

After SB

business slows to a trickle in Vegas.

Class :
Compact, mid-size/intermediate, standard and full size.
then luxury

I believe minivan/suv fall (1) below luxury.

Surely you wouldn't go from a minivan to a full sizes so your next class would be Lux. ;)
Possibly a stretch limo

don't remember the exact order of *pricing*, Lanny.....but the Minivan i went with was about $60 cheaper than going with the Luxury i opted for last year...... SUV was the most expensive of all........granted, luxury may be next step up in price, but IF i were to tell them it was *# of persons it would hold* was what i was counting on, would they have to step it up to an SUV?

dang, if only the time was just available to DRIVE out i wouldn't have this question tonight....LOL
