Took off trying to catch mate in work. Five-furlongs in 1:00 (McPeek got him a half in :47 4/5) not what McPeek was looking for. But cleaned up his feed afterward. Likely will head for the Risen Star.

Repent is good but I'm not sure he's better than his stablemate Harlan's Holiday. HH ran a huge race in the Holy Bull, finished second to a loose on the lead horse but it was 11 lengths back to 3rd. The time looked slow but an allowance race for older horses (which had Monarchos in that field) was run in similar time).
