Deal he can't refuse. Sources close to Kfan's Paul Allen has indicated that the Vikings will offer Cobb a muti year contract making him a top 5 wideout contract wise.

Who the fuck would leak that info? Must have been tongue and cheek. Paul Allen does daily radio show and is the play by play voice of your minnesota Vikings

What is Jennnings cap number this year and next?

Could you post his stats from this year as well?

Also, how much are they going to offer Cobb? 4/50?

Cap number this year is 11 million, cap number next year is 11 million, 6 million guaranteed so
If the Vikes cut him they would have 5 million more to spend

53 catches 640 yards and 5 tds

So we will be looking at 65 catches or so with 750 - 800 yards and 6-7 tds.

This is why the Vikings can never win. The Packers make guys look great and thendecide to not sign them. The Vikings come in and overpay for people that kicked their ass for the four years prior.

How's that plan working out so far?

So you think the Vikings will admit their mistake on Jennings and cut him?

And what happened to Patterson? :mj07:

Patterson is a dummy from what I heard. I
Listened to Paul Allen ask him some very basic questions the other night and he didn't understand some simple questions.

Patterson is very talented probably one of the best people to have the ball cause he can do so much with it. One problem, he can't get open, terrible route runner and if he is engaged at line of scrimmage he is done.

Still hope but he will have one more season to prove what he can do. He's a late bloomer, he didn't play much growing up but he maybe a talented guy who just never gets it

Vikings inability to win has nothing to do with the players they have signed via free agency, it's the reason they came close a couple years ago.

That is a lot of money tied up in WRs but you will have tons of cap room right?

I could see them signing Cobb. He seems like a great guy and teammate.

Maybe Seattle or NE would pay him too.

Yes it does. In this league you need to draft your own talent not overpay for players past performance.

I'm sure you are right. But If Patterson is so stupid why would they draft him? Seems like that would be easy to see pre draft.

They came close winning because of free agency, the Vikings free agent signings have played well. Sharper, long well, Favre. The Vikings short comings have all been because of poor drafting after the first rounds. Childress had drafts in which not a single player was on team 3 years later. They have only drafted well since Favre retired
