On the course!
Funny how that works. Everyone over there thought it was wonderful when Texas stacked the deck, but now it's unfair!

I'm sure since they're now crying, "this needs to stop", they won't try any more dubious shit......

Mic Drop: DeSantis Levels Hakeem Jeffries With Hilarious Invite to Florida for Redistricting Battle
RedState ^ | April 22, 2026 | Nick Arama

Democrats cheered a redistricting measure that reportedly passed in Virginia on Tuesday.

The passage gives the Democrat-controlled state legislature the ability to redraw the commonwealth's congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Except there are already questions about whether this will stand, as we reported.

On Wednesday afternoon, Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. ruled that Tuesday's referendum is unconstitutional and issued an injunction preventing the certification of the election maps. Judge Hurley has also denied any motion to stay his ruling pending appeal.

That decision will likely be appealed.

Democrats like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) were celebrating the passage of the Virginia referendum. But he definitely sounded concerned about the next redistricting battleground - Florida. Jeffries told the Republicans they should "F around and find out," claiming a "DeSantis 'dummymander'" would backfire on Republicans.

Rep. Jeffries "Our message to Florida Republicans is F around and find out. If they go down the road of a DeSantis 'dummymander', the Florida Republicans are going to find themselves in the same situation as Texas Republicans." pic.twitter.com/RlNH0OH4Kp

— Breaking911 (@Breaking911) April 22, 2026 Translation? It's cool when we do it, as in California, but it isn't when the GOP does it.

But it doesn't sound like he put off Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) with that lame effort. Indeed, DeSantis invited him to Florida for the battle because it would be the best thing he could do for Republicans.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Gov. Ron DeSantis just BODIED Hakeem Jeffries threatening Florida if we re-draw our 2026 maps

"'Oh, we're gonna go after Florida.' PLEASE. BE MY GUEST. I will PAY you to come campaign! I'll put you up in the Florida governor's mansion! We'll take you fishing.… pic.twitter.com/uAN8gVXVHR
