The yankees need some RESPECT---- I know how dominating Schilling and Johnson can be but fellas--these are the world champions---They continue to be in the hunt each year---they won it 4 out of 5 years.. I don't know what that tells all of you people, but that tells me that these guys can play.. They have it all---Great pitching--Nasty bullpen--Possibly the best closer of all time----Derek Jeter---The New Mr. October------Joe Torre---he is the best at feeling his player's out.. He listen's to his players.. he trust's in them--if a pitcher say's is arm is fine and they can go, i trust in Joe Torre to make the right descion!!! I bet he would be a great Poker player---good judge of character and knows his players simply by their body language... What about the great yankee defense---- Everyone was counting these guys out when they were down 0-2 to Oakland---not too many teams can come back and win 3 in a row. I believe the A's were the best team in both leagues--They had better starting pitching---better hitting--and solid defense... they had the best record since the all-star break--- But the yankees found a way to come back and beat them... They beat Seattle--come on 116 wins--that is unbelievable!!!! ---They have faced great pitching in oakland---they have faced great pitching in previous years in the world series---and they have proven they can find ways to win!!!! This will be a great series but Can the yankees get the respect they deserve... The snakes are tough, but Yankees( as a team) are better!!!!! I will be giving the under--in game one a hard look!!! Great-pitching beats good hitting 9 times out of 10--Defense---ANd believe the nerves will be higher than ever for both teams...'time is money'''
