Looking at the '05 season when an opponent is seeking revenge there were 16 WINNERS & 26 LOSERS = 41% vs the line.

HF 3-8 (27%)
HD & HP 5-9 (35%)
RF 1-0 (100%)
RD 8-9 (47%)

---------

IN '04

RF 6-4 (60%)
RD 11-5 (69%)
combined 17-9 (65%)

LY those setups went just the opposite: combined 11-17 (39%)

----------

through Nov 5 to Nov 26 '06

6-7 (46%) through Week 12.

========

Looking at these stats one can't put much, if any, emphasis on the Revenge Factor in the NFL.

Todays multimillion dollar players could care less about the game and revenge is a total non factor in thier thinking. Sure there are a few exceptions but for the most part players today dont hold the game as important as the fans. therefore revenge is a non factor in professional sports. It means nothing
