The Orioles own the Angels. They've won six of seven (+$690)
and have an excellent opportunity to make it seven of eight
with ace Sidney Ponson on the hill. Ponson is 5-0 lifetime vs.
Anaheim and is having a career year. He's 12-5 with a 3.64 ERA
overall, 5-3 at home with a 3.98 and is 2-1 in his last three
outings with a 3.13. Kevin Appier, on the other hand, is 6-10
lifetime vs. the Orioles and allowed five earned runs and 11
hits and walks in just 3.1 innings in his only start against
Baltimore this year.
