Post Time 6:00 PM EDT: On this Saturday, the 5th race may lack the quality of other races on the card, but it offers a strong wagering opportunity.

The pace set up in this one indicates that #1 Formally Wild and #3 Next Book will be duking it out early on in what will be a fast and pressured pace. As many as four others will be right on their tails throughout.

Our top two win contenders in here will be #2 Smokeshow City and #5 Swiss Cheese. #2 Smokeshow City is going to offer the horse player significant value. This 4 year-old gelding has had only two starts since January but the recent race on 9/20/15was quite useful. Trainer Bobby Hess moves to his go-to jock, Kent Desormeaux, which is a positive angle. This one has been facing much tougher than this field so look for a big move forward in this second start off the layoff. This is only horse in the field that broke his maiden against maiden special weight company. Top win contender at a price.

#5 Swiss Cheese is a very lightly raced 4 year-old with just three lifetime starts. He has run two decent efforts since his debut...which was a victory against MC 20,000. Really like the drop from 6.5 to 6 furlongs and especially coming off what was a blistering pace last out...strong win contender.

#6 Boompa, is the lone closer here and is a good bet to hit the Superfecta at decent price. Worth a potential single under our top win contenders.
