Looks like the books are taking stands on over half the card this week. Public all over teams like I haven't seen in a while. Usually I can figure out atleast some reason for the books setting a line to induce more money on one side, but some of these games I just don't get. I know the "sharps" and the layoffs or whoever keep the action somewhat balanced in Vegas and offshore, but that doesn't translate to the locals. Every local book is going to be jammed with public money on Akron, WV, Texas, LSU, Wisky, Vtech, UAB, Iowa St, UTEP, Louisville, Georgia, So Fla, Notre Dame, Fresno. 5 years ago, I'd would have just blindly bet against all the public favorites and probably made a nice profit, but these days I wouldn't dare do that. Maybe the linesmakers are smarter, maybe I'm dumber. Either way all that "the books want 50-50 action" may be true but your local won't believe that a minute this weekend. With all that being said, I like the Michelin man to lead the Jayhawks to a straight up ugly win versus Iowa State.

:cursin: :scared I totally agree, I believe bookies, mostly the local guys are taking it hard, nfl too. It just seems too easy as these large favs cover the chalk. Akron and W.V. just seemed too easy as the rest of this weekends games do as well Tex, LSU, Wisky, V Tech, S. Fla, ND, and so on. I LOVE betting dogs but I don't know about the rest of the weekend, Looks too easy for some of these favs :cursin: :scared :cursin:
