slick my dad biught the beach house on the island back when my sister and i we both going to college in fl and did not come home for the summer, and my parents were able to use it to come down and see us both at different colleges play sports, me in baseball, my sister in hoops and vball, after my mom passed my dad gave the house to my sister and I. she lives in the east and they have a house they just moved into their last one i am sure for life, so that left me the house in new smyrna to live in year around when i choose to move, so it has been around for a good while in the family, st.augustine has growen tons since i lived there in the early to mid 80's but they still keep it clean and under control with building codes on keeping up with the old town look.
