Iona has a group of young kids that can all play.McCullough has emerged as a top assit man.A group of gds that can run,shoot,pass and penetrate.Fields is a 6'8 gd-fd.Frosh Walhsmann is avg 6 pts a game and helping out inside the paint.Woffard the mighty mouse looking gd has been hot the past 3 games and shooting the 3.But Smith is there best player.If he is out I like the Purple to cover.Niagara has won the last 2.Last week they won 86-74.Iona led at halftime by 3 and Smith didn't play.
Niagara has 4 solid players.Mendez and Rhodes can dominate in the paint.Darden is the best player in the gym tonite.These 3 guys are 1,2 and 7 in rebounding in the MAAC.And Darden is a gd.They rank No.2 in Off bds to Iona's 9th.Cruz is a good pt gd and has surpassed Dux and Johnson as No1 in assits.
Again the problem with the Purple is depth.Tonite they will play vs 8 or 9 people.
Niagara hasen't won at Iona the last 13 times.I'll take them and watch the pre-game warmups on MSG TV.Maybe they will say something just prior to the tap.I'll rush to my computer and make the play.
Rider pk over St peters
I know Rider just beat Peter by 4 at home last week.But Rider shut down siena with a great defense.Johnson is out of his slump.Taylor is hitting those bombs.Young is playing well.They have won 3 str.Reed inside should dominate the Peter paint.Clark is awesome and avg 24 pts a game.John and Thompson are so inconsistent.
Rider is a better shooting team,with a 7 footer and a great pt gd.They play much better defense and are ranked 2nd in the MAAC.They shoot FT's better also.
Rider is a strong play tonite.No home court advantage.St Petes almost last in attendance.
Brown -5.5 over Harvard..Hunt,Forte and Uh-la-hee Uh-lee-uh-tee-uh or Alaiuaa Nuualiitia.Like Brown to keep streak and win this.
Princeton -14 over Columbia
Penn over Cornell
