heres a tough one:
There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?
sorry TIBthisisbad said:that is a tough one
my first thought is the word must start with IN and end in Y
I figure starting with IN gives me I as the singel letter and IN as the next to last word. am i on the right track?
As i type, maybe it's AS? good grief
and now i am using the word good grief. This riddle has turned me into Charlie brown, thanks a lot....
