What can the greenback laden, Armani sporting commish, D. Stern, think of his precious NBA clan when he awoke this morning?

His game is spiraling to disinterest...

5K show up in Indiana and watched wire to wire loss. What can his excuse be? All the things any astute fan has been saying for the last 8 years: early entry, lack of respect to practicing fundamentals (i.e. AAU HS summer/ratball) and old school bastions like Larry Brown caving into one-on-one BS at the expense of pass and cut game?

When are people gonna admit that the USA plays ball wrong and the other countries are vastly superior in "team" concepts?

Time for USA coaches to go back to basics, thinking layins first, treys second, establish the run like Tom Osborne to set up the pass ... Air Coryell didn't gain any rings, either will the NBA's skewed 21st century version of the game (as far as I'm concerned) ...

I rooted for the Argentines. I mean, who wouldn't that loves the game?

This whole joke of a Championship makes me fvcking puke.

The rest of the all-stars are apparently too good to play for your country's pride. Remember the good old days when putting on a USA uniform was a highly sought after honor? Remember the real Dream Team - Larry Legend, Magic, MJ, Patrick Ewing and Barkley?

The guys that showed up get all my respect in the world. To the ones that didnt, you should all be ashamed you overpaid, overpampered pussies.

usa lost because the team they put together to go over there was a joke...no real center...no real pt. guard...lots of average nba players and a few good scorers..."vastly superior team concepts" did not win those games...a lot more hustle and a stronger desire to win did...

I posted this for some reason and it didn't enter last time so Im making it much shorter ...

so UR saying the NBA only has 8 good players to defend honor?

the game has fallen off due to lack of cutting skills, one on one play, isolations, and the inexorable toll of AAU leech influence...

why arent people going and watching NBA games like they did even 5 years ago? ... NBA.com wont even publish attendance anymore, I wrote them and got some propaganda sounding like Commish was putting sideways spin on it ...

anyhow, respect your opinion, but the game has deteriorated and the foreign players are playing it just as well if not better than USA today
