Cleveland is off a big home win against rival Bengal team who had two weeks to prepare for them. The only reason the Bungles were close was the result of multiple turnovers in the first half. Cleveland is 3-0 at home.

Phillie is unbeaten. 2-0 on the road. Their road wins were against relative softies in Chicago and Detroit. I think this is a letdown spot for Phillie who may be looking ahead to the hard hitting Baltimore defense.

Teams before their bye week are covering this year at an amazing 14-4.

St. Louis off 3 SU wins, 2.5 covers... with the TB push last week. In those 3 games they scored 85 points a resurgence for the greatest show on turf. A short work week for the Rams is the only way to justify this low line of -6 rather than the -7 or 7.5 one might expect.

The phins have been hapless this year with a record of 0-6 SU, 1-5 ATS. Their last 4 losses have all been greater than the number here. Miami's defense is OK but their offense is offensive. :moon:

St. Louis going into the bye...
I'm taking St. Louis -6

As SC says.. I'm feeling it!!!!!!!!!

The Bucs are off a tough Monday night Road loss to the Rams. A game in which they were competitive throughout. They are an improving team that is playing at home after 2 road games. The defense always plays well, and Griese is chucking the ball and scoring points. Watch out for the surging Bucs!

Chicago has had serious problems scoring points with new QB Quinn. Where's McMahon? The defense has been average at best. I don't even have anything else to write about these guys!

Bucs Defense vs Bears O? :scared
I'm taking the Bucs -7

Bucs also fit the bye next week angle that I mentioned earlier!

Battle of 5-0 Teams

The Pats are playing one game at a time hoping to add to their record 20 game win streak. Every game is important but this one is doubly so. Facing the Jets for sole lead of the AFC east. This is a statement spot for the Pats to silence their critics who feel that they haven't faced serious competition since their wk. 1 matchup with Indy.

The Jets D has been good enough to pull off 5 SU wins against the dynamite offenses of Cin, SD, Mia, Buf, and SF. This will clearly be the toughest test they have faced. The offence under Pennington lost both games last year 21-16, 23-16. Look for the O line to have trouble picking up the NE blitzes.

The Aint's aven't been able to pulloff a SU win since their stunning OT win against the Rams. Other than the "Ummm... hiccup" against the Cards, they have been scoring points, 48 points total in their last 2 games. I look for Brooks and McAllister to continue scoring against a less than threatening Raider D.

Kerry Collins is a better QB than Gannon. Ok he's a better QB then Gannon with a broken neck! :142lmao: The Raiders D has given up over 30 points per game in the last 3 weeks. Some say this is a Rebound game for the Raiders after last weeks debacle at home. I think this is where the Faders get exposed by another non-playoff team!

My dog just walked by but didn't seem to care much about this game, that's allright. :grins:

The Broncos are on Cloud 9 after their total dominance of the Raiders last week. Denver's Defense and Offense are equally strong and barring Plummer trying to throw passes with his left hand should be more than sufficient to cover this number against an underachieving Bengals squad.

Carson Palmer has not been able to adjust to the speed of the Nfl and only looks good when compared to the Bengals D line which ranks 32 in the league in rushing yards allowed. Watch for Griffin and Droughns to run wild on this outmanned line.

Under the Monday Night Lights,

Bills/Ravens O31

Bills/Ravens O31

The Bills are surging! Ok, the Bills are on a winning streak! Allright, the Bills wontheir last game. Against Miami. :moon: This game ought to be as interesting as listening to Dennis Miller on MNF. Baltimore?s run D should shut down McGahee and force Bledsoe to put the ball up. Although he doesn?t have the arm strength that he did 5 years ago I think his passing will account for as many as 4 TDs. Maybe 2 for the Bills and 2 for the Ravens! Either way it will lead to an over bet for me with the Baltimore O adding a couple of FGs

No Jamal, solid Baltimore run D, Bledsoe?s inaccuracy?

I?m taking the over,
Bills/Ravens Over 31

Oh by the way my Totals record for the season is

8-10

Maybe you should fade me here!!!!!!!! :sadwave:

Looking hard at the SD moneyline, Carolina has alot of injuries Steve Smith Kris Jenkins and Deshaun Foster. The Chargers have added McCardell and will look to make this game a statement of their ability to be playoff contenders.

Take another look in the morning...
