I'm a HUGE Scorsese fan but Cape Fear made me lose a lot of respect for him and DeNiro.
Casino, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Departed, Taxi Driver, Aviator and Gangs of NY are all 8.5-9.5 movies.
Based on previews alone, Righteous Kill looks like a HORRIBLE movie. I was excited about DeNiro and Pacino together but the script sounds predictable and formulaic and it looks like both legendary actors took their paychecks and did the minimum to make the movie. I'll rent it on DVD but there's no way I'm paying $10 to see it.
