Siena looked good the other night vs Iona but Rider's best player Vaughan has awoken from his season nap and is scoring in double digits with rebounding ,scoring etc. In fact it was just 2 weeks ago Rip Van Winkle Vaughan scored 24 pts vs Siena away and scored 24 points in a 74-60 win up in Albany. If they beat them at Siena can't see why they can't cover the 2 pt line at home. Again Vaughan was the best player in the MAAC 2 years ago, He left and came back . He although wasn't the same player when he left was still Riders top rebounder and scorer and recently had the 24 vs Siena and had 10.20.24,8,17 and 13 . and his rebounding is 8,11,8,10.9.11 Add about 10-12 assists and about 15 steals in those games, His FG% is very good Think Siena got a nice boost with Iona game the other night winning 70-64 but that was at home Today they drive to New Jersey pay the toll and drive back to up state NY . You only pay the toll when you leave Jersey . So think Saints pay the toll and also lose by 6-8 pts and Vaughan will no longer be called Rip because his nap is over.. Ironically where the Saints play and school is ..its at the foot of the Catskills where we think Washington Irving wrote Rip Van Winkle . To this day when ever there is thunder my kids were told by me growing up in the Hudson Valley its just some dutch guys bowling thats making the sound lol
