Going on Sat night to NYC but will stay the night somewhere along the way (preferably around the halfway point, possibly Trenton NJ- I don't know?). Any suggestions on where to stay (what city) close to US40E and the Jersey Tpk? I would like a decent place where my wife and I can have breakfast and walk around a bit in the morning. Thanks guys.

Hi Blackman

Hi Blackman

Found what I hope to be a suitable place to stay with Continental Breakfast and my wife got her employee discount so it's $40 for Sat night.

The city is called Cherry Hill and it's just off of the NJ Tpk. It's 1.5 hrs from NYC so we'll be able to get most of the drive done Sat night. A little leary about driving in NYC because I am very unfamiliar w/that area and the ports but I did a mapquest so I should be okay.

Ever been to Cherry Hill, NJ? It's probably just some small Jersey town which is okay by me as long as it isn't in the hood.

Cherry Hill is nice, it's a higher end suburn town down in South Jersey. Trust me it's no Camden, and for one night should be just fine.

Somewhere in Corn Country
Cherry Hill, NJ, is where the rich people that work in Philly live...Its across the Delaware river from Philly....nice area...if you want to kill a bit of time before finishing the trip, take a walk thru the Cherry Hills Mall...enjoy NYC
