it just galls me when an athletic director says that "coach snyder is a man of character....he`ll make the right decision"......while we all know the athletic director and every booster with any clout is pressuring the sh-t out of snyder to make sure roberson plays........

I agree GW. He knows they can't win without Roberson. I also liked how the AD did an investigation and found that there wasn't any criminal wrong doing, how does an AD do a criminal investigation?
It was an old girlfriend, he had problems with her while she was in school at K-State. He did miss curfew, thinking with his Johnson again.
Roberson should sit because he was thinking with his "johnson" and not thinking of the team. If I was his teammate, I wouldn't want him to play but that is me.

for a second,throw out the sexual assault stuff........
just the fact that this guy is out till 4 in the morning 2 nights before the bowl game while having an 11 p.m. curfew shows me that he`s a selfish p-ick.........he has to realize that without him,the team`s chances of winning are seriously jeopardized....he obviously is another guy that thinks rules are for everybody else.....and the k.st. powers that be are confirming that he`s right....just keep it together for a few more days and your college career ends on a high note...
but, yet again,the tail wags the dog....
..not to mention the black mark it puts on his character when the nfl looks at him.....
yeah,he`s young....but,when i was 21 or 22,i knew what was important and what was right and wrong.....and when people were depending on me to do the right thing....
this kid has obviously been pampered...and it continues....

This seems about right to me. Curfew, possible sexual assault is one quarter....curfew, possible sexual assault, armed robbery would merit sitting for the whole first half.

Tressel let Clarrett play all last year. Not saying he did anything wrong but these coaches are all the same win first.. Its their job
you don't even know if he is guilty of sexual assault...chill out...nobody is perfect...mistakes happen

Couldn't agree more with Gardenweasel and Wolver. As a K-State grad I'm about ready to puke. The only good thing I can get out of this situation is that I didn't blow $2000 or more on the fiesta bowl. IMHO I wouldn't let Roberson play at all. I would tell him to pack his shit and take the next flight back to Manhattan. Oh, and by the way, clean out your fawking locker! That's the problem with NCAA athletics. Coaches are too pressured to win because it's all about the money. In turn, they are forced to take the better athletes with lower IQ's. Example: Michael Bishop vs. Texas A&M in the big twelve title game a few years back.
What's the song, " I'm going to the desert on a horse with no name."
Initially I like Ohios State +7.5
Anyway, that being said, K-state will probably cover -7. I know everyone thinks that because K-state beat OU that they are giving K-state too much credit. However, i look at it in the fact that the K-state players want to prove they can win it without Roberson, and who is the defending National Champions anyway. Gun to my head i would take KSU.

It's weird, because I watch a lot of Lakers games and there isnt a game that goes by that I dont think about the Kobe thing and if Im rooting for a rapist. In all the years as a sports fan, I dont ever remember having this quandry.
