ROCKIES/TWINS Under 9 -110 - The Rockies took the series opener last night 5-0 in a game that easily stayed Under the total. Those 5 runs were like an outburst for Colorado on the road, where they are averaging just 3.73 runs per game with a .232 team batting average. Furthermore, the Rockies are hitting just .216 vs. right-handed pitchers away from Coors, and they face a very good one tonight. Lohse has a sparkling 3.01 ERA and an outstanding ratio of 1.04 in 12 starts this season. He is also working on an impressive streak of 7 consecutive Quality Starts, and he held the Giants to 2 runs and 7 hits with no walks in 8 innings last Thursday in his first Interleague outing. Cook has been quietly effective for Colorado, as he has not allowed more than 4 runs in any of his last 6 starts while going at least 6 innings in each of them. He is facing a Twins offense that is surprisingly averaging a rather pedestrian 4.47 runs per game here at home.
