Caddyshack has gotta be top 5 comedies if not #1 of all time. He was one of the coolest guys ever. A great loss for all of us.

had not heard this, man was he funny I use to love to watch all the movies he was in, just the faces he could make would mage you laugh, was funny in stand-up also but loved him in the movies.

Just my opinion - Bill Murray made that movie hot

TED KNIGHT/RODNEY MADE THAT MOVIE. MURRAY WAS PRETTY FUNNY BUT NOT HIS BEST ROLE IN MY OPINION.

WE'LL MISS YOU RODNEY,THANKS FOR PUTTING SMILES ON OUR FACES.

was a big fan of rodney's.

must have seen him about 10x in person.

first time was when he had a nightclub in nyc.

after he performed he used to hang out in the bar & talk to the customers.he was a regular guy.

last time i saw him was at the mgm....which was about 25 years later.....he still had it...rattle off joke after joke.....imo he was the best stand-up.
