It was a enjoyable game to watch.

Alabama was not out of it until late in the game.

All it would have taken is a score on their last drive to get the back door.

Thats gambling. Florida looked very strong even without Percy Harvin. Florida has a strong defense maybe as good as Alabamas. There was no way to know that going into this game.

The differance in the game was at QB . Just got to remember when all other things are equal , take the team with the better QB. John Parker Wilson could not get it done passing when he had to. That last interception was like ass. All they needed was a field goal, onside kick recovery, touchdown and two point converstion to tie the game. Was that too much to ask ?

yeh it was for John P Wilson.

Tebow can be a monster and unstoppable at times. He runs hard and I dont think I have ever seen him come up limping.
I think his secret is in his thighs. They are huge and made of steel.

Tebow combines the passing game with pinpoint passes , with his ability to run for first downs. Its killer.

Here comes Oklahoma

Sorry for the lose Scott, I was on the gators.

Imo Nick Saben is a pussy just like that other cocksucker Steve Spurrier, they have all the success in college ball they get lured into coaching a failing NFL team Spurrier = Skins Saben = Phins and what do they do? They give up and crawl back to the college ranks and try to impose their will on young adults...........Fuck them

No that it has to, but your post makes absolutely no sense to me. I see nothing wrong with Spurrier or Saban choosing their own career path.

What I know abut these 2 is that Spurrier was the best college football coach in the 90's, hands down. Saban is among the best college coaches this decade, hands down.

No offense, but you come off as little more than a hater in this post.

I got alot of respect for Spurrier.

old ball coach and all.

If Spurrier had been coaching Alabama , this wager might have had a better chance

No offense Cie but when you quit or resign as a NFL coach and go back to college isn't that telling the public you can't coach at the Professional level?

This what I hate the fact that they quit coaching pros and went back to college, to me they suck as professionals in their chosen career if they can't handle adversity in the pro ranks.

Look what they did as coaches in the NFL the both failed imo.

College is one thing the NFL is whole different kettle of fish, Both Saben and Spurrier imo are quitters, not only that but Saben Bio is a fraud

2008 ? Saban finished the regular season undefeated( Not didn't get the job done in the SEC Championship game) for the first time in his career as a head coach as he led the Crimson Tide to their first undefeated regular season since 1994. His second season at the Capstone began with a 34?10 victory over the #9 ranked Clemson Tigers in the 2008 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff in the Georgia Dome. Three weeks later, Alabama had a convincing 49-14 road-win over Arkansas. They followed that victory with an impressive 41?30 win over the #3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs. After the Georgia game, the Tide won consecutive home games against the Kentucky Wildcats and the Ole Miss Rebels and finished out the month of October with a 29?9 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. Following a 35?0 homecoming victory over Arkansas State, the Crimson Tide were voted #1 in all major polls in Week 10?following a loss by #1 Texas. It was the first time since the 1980 season that Alabama held the top spot during the regular season.[6] The Tide took their No. 1 ranking into Baton Rouge, Louisiana and came out with a 27-21 overtime victory. With the win, Alabama clinched their first SEC Western Division Championship since 1999 and guaranteed the team a trip to the 2008 SEC championship game. The Tide then improved to 11-0 with a win at home over Mississippi State. To finish the regular season, Alabama defeated in-state rival Auburn 36?0?the largest victory in the series since 1962. It was Alabama's first victory over Auburn since the 2001 season. In the SEC Championship Game, Alabama suffered their first defeat in a 31?20 loss to the SEC Eastern Division Champion Florida Gators.

This one is for ROLLTIDE and GODSPEED to a swift and complete recovery !

you are the man Scott.... sorry it didn't happen for us. Disappointed in the outcome, but not the season or the process. Like you I had a little on the moneyline and with the points. I knew it was bad when 'Bama only kicked a FG to take a 20-17 lead. You can't trade FGs for TDs against Tebow.

Hope all is well my friend. :toast:

Couldn't agree more Cie... never like Superior, but man you can't argue with the results on the college level. Same thing with Saban... he may not be Mr. Personality, but you have to love the results. Both guys reached the pinnacle of their profession... a National Championship. They are both competitors... why not see if you have what it takes to the get to the next level? After a few years they realized they made a mistake and got back to the college game. More power to them.

Apparently grooven has a hard on for Saban.

Brent

I said the same exact thing about the field goals. I think I yelled it out. YOU CANT BE KICKING FIELD GOALS THIS CLOSE IN THE RED ZONE.

Good to see you posting. I know it will take time to completely heal up. Take it easy and a little at a time. I know you know that.

See you in the Alamo Bowl.:(
