That is for sure. I am willing to give this regime their chance. I just have little confidence in all politics. It's just a waiting game.

I agree also. Politics isn't about helping people - it is no different than business itself - it is about power and money.

And that what the public union fight was all about in WI - not protecting people's rights - but protecting union dues and power.

Politics is very easy to understand, no matter which party we are talking about. Follow the money.

Mags is right, BP. Follow the money.

Follow the $5 Million the Koch Bros. funneled into the Walker campaign through the Republican Governors Association. And by all means, follow that $5 Million returned to the Koch Bros. many times over in the form of no-bid contracts, tax cuts and corporate subsidies given to the Koch Bros. by the Walker administration.

Good advice, Mags... "Follow the money". :0074

I'll admit, normally I am against the killing of defenseless, unborn babies.
But once those defenseless babies are born to unwed teenage mothers, victims of incest and rape, or born into abject poverty, they're on their own in your world, aren't they Mags?

OR the billions (that would be $80B) that Big Pharma promised Obama during Obamacare to leave them alone......

Their mothers should/would take care of them - along with their dad's. If they are old enough to have sex, they are old enough for the consequences, don't ya think???

Should taxpayers continue to pay for bad choices made by people? It's bad enough that we bailed out folks who made bad choices in the housing market.

Isn't there ANY personal responsibility and accountability anymore?

To the point of protestors being college students... The majority of organized protestors were made up of people late 20s +. The Northern sector will turn against Walker unless his plan works well. Everyone up here has a relative, friend, or he/she themselves is a union worker.

No problems with planned parenthood - provide a lot of great services to a segment that needs them.

Just don't think they should be in the business of murder - and tax dollars should not subsidize it.

If you are a "laws are laws" guy then abortion is not murder. I agree though I do not believe plan parenthood should pay for abortions even though that is such a low percentage. I am pro choice for other people for me I would be anti abortion but I do not like to make decisions for others.

This is a great post, IMO. It's funny how some people hide behind the Constitution and "laws" when it serves their political purpose. Otherwise, that's a different story, and things should be argued about and "grey colors" of issues are important.

I personally am pro-choice, but I personally agreed to be a parent (after making a really bad choice one night when drunk). I have never relinquished that choice, and am the proud grandfather of two grandchildren and a successful and beautiful married daughter as a result of my decision. Was that the right thing to do? I don't know. I'm happy about it now, but I don't presume to know what is the best thing for other people in the world I live in. I think my choices were the best thing for all of us, and we are all very happy right now.

And for those of you that think you do know about what's best for other people, I think you are wrong...

Cripes, Maggot, learn the meaning of English words -

Law . the killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered in law.

human being
n
a member of any of the races of Homo sapiens; person; man, woman, or child

In your dreams, it is anyway.

The fact is Wisconsin's a swing state from a voting standpoint. However, Wisconsin's always been a progressive state in terms of public policy.

To argue otherwise reveals your lack of knowledge of the very state you live in.

Well, following the same line of thought that "laws are laws and should be followed including Roe v Wade", then we'll all agree that every illegal should be deported immediately. And never be allowed back in. Laws are laws.

But I have a hunch that the libs have a different "view" of that law. So don't be pointing fingers, sir.
