Clemson freshman guard Jordan Roper will attempt to play Tuesday night against Wake Forest after sitting out the Virginia game with a sprained ankle.

Roper practiced on a limited basis Monday.

Head coach Brad Brownell is optimistic Roper will play although he says the freshman would be far from 100 percent.

"He's probably 80, 85 percent" Brownell said.

"We hope he can go because we will need his scoring."

Roper is fifth on the team in scoring with an average of 6.8 points.
