to say this has been a bad year for me is an understatement....about as consistent as Brandin Knight shooting ft's in crunch time. Anyway, the year is almost over, so I'm going to see what is in store for me these last two weeks. Good luck to all!!

Wisconsin +12 (Kentucky has won and covered their first 2 games in this tournament big....couple that with the huge win streak they are on, and it is obvious they are a huge public play. Wisconsin is a tough team that plays good defense....I also have a lot of respect for their coach Bo Ryan...I feel he will have a solid game plan in store for tonight, which in turn will allow Wisky to go out and give a supreme effort and play loose....a "nothing to lose" type of game and effort. In a game in which Vegas has set a fairly low total ~129, shows they are expecting a slow paced, low scoring game....and given that fact, the 12 points may come in very handy....I'm willing to take a shot.)
Marquette +5 1/2 (Pitt is another team I believe the public will be all over tonight having watched them destroy both of their first 2 opponents Wagner and Indiana. Both of those teams lacked what I believe you need to deal with Pitt...an inside presence. Marquette, I believe has the inside strength in Robert Jackson and Scott Merritt to at least slow Pitt down a little inside.....it was a lay-up drill against IU's lack of inside presence. The rest of the match-ups I believe are quite even. Pitt is a great front-runner, love and flourish in the no-pressure situation....I feel if Marquette can hang around and get this under the last TV timeout, that pressure will swing squarely on Pitt's shoulders....and that is when the FT shooting really goes bad, and the loosey goosey team tightens up a lot. I remember when a shorthanded Villanova put a scare in Pitt the last game of the regular season....I've never seen a more horrendous FT shooting performance....why, because there was pressure to make them. Marquette may get blown out, but I don't think so.....I think they stick around....taking a chance on a very solid club catching points.)
