That movie is one of the most unrealistic gambling movies ever made. If you guys think that stuff happens in real life high stakes games then you've been watching too many movies.

The movie rocks. Who cares how real it was. Pulp fiction was a good movie and I don't think that was real.

'you know what i like when I'm down'
'what?'
'rolled up aces over kings'
'yeah?'
'stacks of checks I can't even see over'

Grama is still the best thug. Nothing like a man in his tighty whiteys with two half-naked coke whores on the desk.

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. I remember watching documentary on high rollers and it showed this guy, forgot name but bet Nolan knows it. He was in a C---Hair of busting the Horse Shoe out in Vegas and gave it all back plus his entire roll.
When they interviewed him he had this smirk on his face like he thought he was gods gift, but I thought him as the ultimate fool who refused to walk away a winner.

Maybe Nolan or someone else will know entire story behind this guy and fill in details. I believe he was Greek or from somewhere in that area if not mistaken.

I downloaded it yesterday.....and just now got to watch it...and man, what a great fawking movie. Whether its unrealistic or not, its amazing how much physicology(spelling) is involved in this game.

I play No Limit once in a while with the boys, the game is hard - especially for someone like me who rarely plays.

But its a great fawking movie - real or not. Matt Damon did a superb job on his roll.

Gonna try to burn this beyotch to a CD

Agree that Matt Damon was very good in this movie, but Ed Norton by far did the best job playing his character. I think we all know somebody like Worm, unless you are that somebody.

Won of my favorites. Everytime I watch it I have a deck of cards in my hands, a cigar hanging from my grill and an itch to call the boys for some no limit holdem. Trying to buid my stake of 3 stacks of high society.
