Rove and Scooter

Listened to a Independent talk radio show last night and they had on a guest whom is a solid political nonpartisan reporter and he reported that Rove nor Scooter will be indicted for outing Valerie Plame because of unsubstantiated evidence. Yet more than likely Scooter will be indicted on some form of perjury and Rove will skate free, but if Rove is indicted he will immediately take a leave of absence from his position.

Rove did cancel his appearance at next three fund raisers as of today. Good idea.

Don't know much about this prosecutor, but one thing I like is he keeps things under wrap and he and his staff leak nothing. I am sure he has pretty well came to some conclusion by now but can't find anyone with other than opinions of what it his.He sure is making them sweat it out

I think the fact he has kept this so controlled and private speaks volumes about what he has to work with. A good attorney does not show his hand, or individual cards in it for effect, if he doesn't need to. I agree he has handled this in a very professional way. This is a very powerful individual in his own right, and probably as free from worry about repercussions as anyone could be.

The funny thing is...when the rats start scurrying and trying to stay alive, anything can happen. They have been trying to portray him and this as being political, but I haven't seen much publicly negative about him. He's also said he is not issuing a report, which leads me to believe he has substance and indictments coming - otherwise he'd have to explain what he's been doing for the last 22 months.
