UNLV -7 over Wyoming ********** strong play
A month ago UNLV beat W 76-62.UNLV at home as beaten CSU,SD St,AF and NM by 15,3,13 and 9.Wyoming isn't better then anyone of those teams.Wy has lost 10 str rd games.is 0-8 ats and has lost 5 of last 6 games games. The only good thing they have going for them is there leading scorer is named Straight. And he is the only one on the team that can shoot "straight".Actually Adams can shoot but this Wy team is hurting at home but esp on the road.
Blankson is a 6'7 stud.Avg 16 pts and 10 bds.Blass..game is a solid pt gd that avg 6 apg's.Peters,Edwards<Beck are all 6'7 and 6'8 greyhounds..
Wy does not have the defense to stop the Rebs.this is a double digit win at home.UNLV is 7-4 ats at home.Make it 8-4.

La-Laf -6 over North Texas ******** strong play
NT on a slide after surprising a lot of people. They have lost 2 str and 4 of last 5.Inconsistent offense and poor defense are the cause.Johnson in the middle has helped them but he turns it over a lot and cannot shoot FT's.Hopkins is leading scorer avg only 13 pts.
La-laf lost its bracketbuster game the other day to Rice. They led throughtout the game.La is loaded on offense.Landry,Greene,Boyd,Hamilton,Bridges and Mitchell are avg in double figures. Also La_laf has 3 guys that avg 3 apg's .
La-Laf defense is better,offense better,FG%,FT %,and 3 pt %.NT rebounds better.And thats it
In fact La-Laf has 4 guys that can hit from I-35[2 blocks from the Super Pit].These guys have hit for 73,56,24 and 24.Boyd has 73 tre's.NY has its top 4 42,31,18 and 16 with Hopkins hitting 42 shooting 37%.Super Pit is no home advantage.Maybe 2,000 show up.

La-laf has dominated NT the past 3 yrs winning by 13 in Jan and 34 and 31 lyr.
And la-laf is in the top 5 out of 233 teams in ats standings. They are 11-3 overall and 8-2 ats away.Cannot see NT defense staying with them for 40 minuts.Close game with 8 minuts to go and then it's Ragin' Cajun time.Another double digit win...

Nova +7 over Cuse ****
Nova has some outside shooters in Ray and Nardi.I think they can attack the 2-3 zone with Nardi penetrating.Sumpter,Foye and Frazier can score.GMAC and Warrick are only 2 real offensive players.Pace can ignite but is inconsistent.Nova is 8-2 ats away.Cuse team is in turmoil w/o Edelin.Cuse defense doesn't have the spacing of the past.Nova has won the past 2 games.Cuse at home L-ND,W-Rutgers by 2,beat VT by 12 and L-Pitt by 21,Lost to prov and the Hall.
Nova can matchup well vs Cuse.Could even upset them

Texas-7.5 over Kansas **
New Mex +10.5 over Utah **
Hawaii +8 over UTEP **
Rice -8 over Fresno **

Two strong plays LaLaf and UNLV.Rebs best bet

No one.School started in Texas already. We don't start till after labor day.We spent 3 days there by ourselves.Going in the water was scary because no one else was in there.I;m used to the jersey shore were there are 500 people all around you.

bohawk and box,
i was in south padre for a few days during my texas road trip, from the 26-28th of december. I anticipiated a lot of young people/girls my age, but apparently thats only for spring break. The weather was outstanding, night time in the 60s and a nice breeze, sat in the hot tub and brought out a bin of ice, beers, and a little flask of vodka and a carton of oj ;) ;) I also thought thered be some bars, but there very few, and nothing on the beach at all in terms of restaurants and bars like most places, but spring break Im sure it's crazy, I was a little let down, only people on the beach were families and senior citizens, and I didnt like the lack of bars, but thats my youth showing, 10 yrs from now I wont care if they have tons of young girls, LOL I will, but I wont be allowed to go for them ;) Good luck Box tonight

Mike, I told you about those old people in South Padre during the winter. It's not worth going unless it's in March. At night, everyone treks down to Mexico (30 minute drive) to get plastered.

I'll be in Port Aransas this March doing some fishing and drinking...I'm done with Padre thing.

GL tonight Boxster!

Monk-Man,think it`s worth being in So. Padre in the winter when
you can play golf about everyday&walk 4-6 miles on a beautiful
beach in weather 60-80 degrees.Nice sunsets& Louie`s backyard
with cold libations too.Beats the hell out of Ohio.In March, there`s
up to a 90 min delay to get across the two mile causeway because of the Sp. breakers.Rather have the "Winter Texans".GL,
tonight. Like Rice alot. Also, since you mentioned Pt.Aransas, is
that where Allnet is from? Have`nt seen him post in quite awhile.

;) ;)

bohawk,

ah yes, how could i forget about Louie's Backyard? i have fond memories of that place when i was wasted away trying to dance with the ladies. i haven't been to Padre since '94 so it's been a while for me. i'm sure the beach is nice without all of the comotion involved.

allnet is from Port Arthur TX, outside of Houston.

take care! ;)

LOUIE'S BACKYARD!!! Totally forgot about that place. Had sex on the beach (not the drink) outside of Louie's. Hadn't thought about that in many years. Thanks for bringing back the memory.

sorry about hijacking your thread Box! :D

sex on the beach is tough to do. i tried it once in galveston. the wind was blowing something viscious and sand started to get all in my eyes and ass crack. it was late at night but all i heard were these drunk guys parked in a jeep down the way and all i could think about was them catching me in the act. we had no blanket or towel, we used my shirt. :) i think i sufficed about 4 or 5 strokes before saying "fuhk this, let's go back to the house!"

i swear her house was haunted (her grandmother's house). it was one of those old ass antique houses from the early 1900's that survived that big storm from way back, i forget the name. anyways, we kept hearing shit all night and the stairs even had one of those electric chair lifts for old people! i found a newspaper clipping from the time Robert E. Lee was killed. just a spooky event all together.

I know what you mean about sand in the ass crack, but 20 years ago when I was 18 you could have put tacks in my ass and I would still be after the snatch.

Nice win by the Horns. Defensive mental lapses were alarming though.
