I'm sure there is a thread about each.
But I doubt there is a single thread regarding all 3.
Thus, this is not a re-post
Don't do movie reviews on here, but I promise I've seen as many movies as most critics...
Anyways, something about these 3 really did it for me...each in a totally different genre, but all equally compelling.
If anyone hasn't seen them, I suggest all for any type of audience....
I am biased towards true stories and also ron howard, so Rush was a no brainer....
Captain phillips somewhat resembled the truth and was great acting by forrest gump....overall like it as well
But the top choice....the best of the best.....Lone survivor.....I have to say, I watched the '60 minutes' segments prior to the film in which Marcus Latrell (the lone survivor) depicts the true events of that day(s)....it really helps put it in perspective knowing whay you learn from watching the segment....mainly, it helps anyone who maybe doesn't appreciate what the military does, to reconsider and appreciate the sacrifices men and women make everyday.....
