You have to understand how Russians think. They love Putin because he's such a dominant asshat. They admire manly men who exercise their power to dominate their opposition. To them Putin is the perfect Russian. He'll be president for life unless a more dominant asshat comes along, kills him and picks up where he left off.

Putin allows the Gov and leaders to be corrupt and rich , then he can control them.


kinda like in America for the last 100 yrs

This guy gets it. Unlike in America now, though, Putin controls the mob, the criminal elements and the underground. He endeavors to fill the pockets of every Russian who just happens to support him. Morals and ethics are of little value, control is the key. He just has to make sure that all those who oppose his control get mysteriously eliminated. That's the plan.

One other scenario....the USA has been trying to sabotage Putin since he has sworn off the dollar as the international oil currency of "choice".

With the dollar king, we are free to print Bazillions of unbacked dollars to flood the world with our inflation.

How about a covert CIA operation to stir up Putin's opponents like stirring up a mad as hell hornets nest by taking out their leader?

We will never know the truth obviously, but if Putin was behind this there would be no bullet riddled corpse to place blame.
