Rutgers -10 over Bonnies ****
This is a part of the Garden State Challenge{NJ] or if I could change the name "The Mall " challenge since NJ has a mall for every per 2,000 people.Bergen County has one mall for every 100 people. Sorry lets get serious..
RU has been playing pretty good since its 1st game vs Marist. Everyone in Piscataway is talking about superfrosh Rosario. He hit 27 the other nite vs R.Morris.There other frosh in 6'9 Echenique who is a defensive force blocking 11 shots already and altering another 15.They also have 6'11 Ndiaye inside who has 19 block shots. These 2 guys gives RU such an advantage on the bds and defense .Both are avg 10 pts but not big time scorers.RU has about 5 gds that are interchangeable..Coburn,Pettis,Farmer....etc. Not great shooters but let the frosh do that.
but there best player 6'9 Inman who was suspended played the last 2 games. He's only getting 20 minutes because he hasn't been needed.Today I thinks he gets to play more but won't start.
Bonnies will have trouble today trying to matchup.I watched them vs marist last week and Mathews couldn't miss a shot.Hit his 1st 5 tre's.He's tough.Hall also looked good but the rest of the team was avg. There weakness is inside the paint. Both scorers are gds.Think they will have a tough time playing post defense and RU's gds are quick and think they won't let mathews get open jumpers. And if Inman wakes up and realizes that the players around you are depending on you he might play some team ball.Coach Hill is in his 3rd yr at RU.He has two NJ HS kids in Rosario and Echenique.Today is "kids day" at the RAC..expect a pretty big crowd..many want to see these two freshman....and many of the Malls are closed in NJ on Sunday's.RAC will be rock'in..

Indiana St -4.5 over North Texas ***
NT just beat Sam Houston at there gym breaking a 45 game win streak.NT has some talent. Two new players started because no ones gives up the ball. It's a start.NT is so athletic and quick. adding a few juco's players. But they can't shoot..love to drive to the hoop, fast break, shoot 3's.
Ind St is a young team that lost to NIU the other nite by 7.They have Reed who can hit the 3's and two guys inside Crawford and Tunnell who are 6'11 and 6'8.Throw in 6'8 Martin who led the Mizzou valley in blocked shots.Although Sycs have just begin playing together think they have enough to beat NT.Sycs lyr where 12-2 at home.Think Tunnell inside gives NT problems.

Delaware -4.5 over Marist ***
Cal St Fuller +7 over Portland St **

box, i really like the Mean Green to win today, i agree they are extremely athletic just need to play more like a team. indiana st. lost to a NIU team whos not very good at all which has be questioning them, and NT hung with the Pokes for a while.

a friend of mine went to NT for a while, Mike Sturns, got kicked off the team i believe and transferred to small d2 school in philly, which is where i met him, led D2 in scoring last year and just got drafted in the D-League.
