SEC Guru, I try to follow you regularly and respect your picks a lot. Just wondering what you see that makes Ole Miss so attractive. They've lost every road game this year by double digits while at the same time LSU has won every home game by double digits except one (last week in the beating they received from Alabama). Add in the factor that LSU really wants to bounce back from that disaster AND the fact that it's Senior Day and I've got LSU in an easy win.
Just want to know if this pick is just a gut feeling you have or if there's something I'm missing. I admit that I haven't watched a whole lot of SEC this year and thus I'm just doing my capping by looking at the numbers, and they don't always tell the whole story.

I like Ole Miss with the ponits (maybe straight up). Problem is game's at Death Valley, and you don't know how LSU will react after last week's whooping. Saban should have them mentally ready, but the talent is what's worrying me.
10 points are a lot for an LSU without their QB and RB. Davis can do a good job, but you can't depend on him for everything. It's gonna be up to LSU's secondary to keep Manning from passing, and maybe get some TO's.
Rebels have had LSU's number for a while ('cept 2000). And LSU playing very bad last 3 games. The Bama game was no surprise, but the Auburn game got to me, and I haven't seen them do well since. Ole Miss has gone through tough part of schedule their L4 and still have scored some points.
Bottom line, too many points right now. We'll see how the number moves. For LSU to win by 10 it's gonna take tough defense and some offensive mistakes by Rebels.

Does anyone have thoughts on total for L.S.U./ole miss game. Eli will put points on the board, Ole Miss has no running game, so Eli could pick the secondary apart. Passing means longer game (clockwise), So if L.S.U. puts 30+, I could see an OVER play. Any thoughts.

there is no way alabama should be giving 10 points in the iron bowl. Auburn may lose but no way by 10 . They played Ga too good.
