The improving Sabres as an underdog at home to the Boston Bruins are a strong play for tonight. Buffalo had an impressive preseason and followed that up with a 6 - 4 victory over the NY Islanders on opening night. Now the Sabres look to continue their solid play against a divisional rival.
The Sabres are blessed with good depth at their forward positions, a stable of reliable, puck-moving defensemen and strong goaltending. Buffalo is a team that was completely forgotten in the offseason. They made very few personnel moves and those they did make didn?t cause a lot of excitement.
