SAC STATE - 3 ( 3X) ...........I like the way Riverside has been playing this year....getting nice guard play from Butler and Carter and Morton is a nice compliment but he is banged up a bit....they have looked impressive in 3 straight wins after 3 straight games againt stronger pac 10 teams.....they are actually looking for their first 4 game win streak since joining div 1....with all that being said i actually like Sac ST to get the job done tonight at home where they play decent ball.....and i know Riv bezt st marys and sac had a rough game in losing to st marys but i dont look at that crap...well i guess i look at it but it doesnt matter to me......i like the triple guard combo of the Hornets to take this game by 7-11

PEPPERDINE - 2.5 ( 2X) .....Like box mentioned i think PEPPY is just a bit too athletic but what do i know...i think they have underachieved thus far but i think they are getting back on track....FAIRFIELD is a nice team and have made me some money this year but not tonight PEPPY by double digits again....... I HOPE
GOOD LUCK TO ALL

1-1 tonight + .8 of a unit
thanks SICK......disappointed in PEPPY once again...Fairfield showed some grit after peppy stormed out in the 2nd half and took the lead and looked like they were gonna romp....im impressed more and more with this Fairfield club and disappointed even more with this peppy club....anyways good luck the rest of the night

pepperdine used to be a favorite team of mine to bet. theyre super athletic and can score in bunches. problem is, westphal never demands defensive effort from them, so they play malibu-style defense and have underachieved lately. im echo your sentiment

I AGREE 100 percent GMAN about Westphal and his defensive woes....i guess he has always been like that though.....no more PEPPY for me for me until they can show me some heart...good luck manana

like AK said, GMAN knows more about fundmentals than I could ever learn in my lifetime......

in regards to the pepperdine comment...i'm just a stats man....
I can say that over the last 3 years of consistently capping all major (and minor) sports, about 98% of the games i bet on, i never watch.....why? because i don't get em on the TV (no pun intended...).

Pepperdine has been a great fade for me over the last year or so:
in their last 20 games.
Pepperdine was 9-11-0 SU and 5-13-0 ATS in these games.

and we ALL know how important that ATS number is.

vigilante:

those lame pepperdine ATS numbers dont surprise me at all. made good $ on em a few yrs ago. then got tired of watching them play terrible defense and play below their potential, so stopped betting on em. gave em a shot vs maryland this year and they got blasted. i feel like they are a "popular" mid-major hoops team. very often, the consensus is on pepperdine in their gms and for obvious reasons (their style of play is fun to watch and they push the ball up the floor). problem is, their style of play and matador D isnt conducive to covering spreads. keep fadin em in the right spots brother. waves just not fundamentally sound.

(although i love makin money on em when they play gonzaga. just bet pepperdine/gonzaga over. its like watching a tennis match back and forth. its easy $)

I think I am about 0-4 betting on Pepperdine over the last couple of years. I could never play them until they cover a few games. Great call on Sac State - I couldn't tell you one player who ever played for them. I have always wanted to pick an unknown team like them and focus on them for a season. Keep up the good work!
