why in the hell does the age of the evidence in question?

is that all you have to grasp onto? I could picture you now in a
court of law "Your honor, i cannot discuss this lawsuit. The crime occured in the past".

we shall strive to be worthy of your statute of limitations. :hail

I wonder how the BTK killer will get prosecuted

Maybe I should start a thread detailing how we didn't find WMD. That would be really topical, interesting and thought-provoking.

Moot moot moot. We didnt care about the devastation caused by Saddam to Iranians in the early 80's, and we didn't care about what he did to the Kurds later. We didn't care until we had to start finding reasons to invade.

That being said, yeah - those can be reasons. But let's not be so condescending as to pretend we care about those that were murdered by Saddam. We didn't when it happened, we can't pretend to now.

We should get over all of at this point. Iraq is on a path - a path that I hope makes my arguments against invasion looked upon as wrong by everyone someday. Now we have to figure out what path we want with other nations. We must acknowledge the amazing deficit and declining numbers of military enlisting as we do this. Lets try and plan it all out and be more realistic than we were (and still are -based on Bush's spending plans on Iraq after this year). Most of us just want honest assesments and can't handle the rhetoric anymore.

I'm not sure if you'll understand this, but....

1988-yes WMD
2003-no WMD, just as all of the UN Inspectors and all of Europe said.

Where's the outrage over the genocide of the Tutsis????!!!!!!

Stop pretending that you care about murdered masses of people. We only care when it can be used as a reason for something. Just stop the bullsh1t. It's such an after the fact reason, it just makes you look ridiculous. So selective - I mean you guys don't give any mention of the tens of thousands innocent dead and displaced Iraqis since we invaded. You don't care about them? Only the ones killed by Saddam are worthy of outrage? STFU already about the dead.

Get over yourselves already. What's "moot" are these arguments. Again, you must just glean my post for one key word or something.

WE ARE IN IRAQ. THERE WERE REASONS TO INVADE AND REASONS NOT TO. WHO FRIGGIN CARES WHY ANYMORE. LETS GET THE JOB DONE AND DONE WELL.
