Wrong again premium collector. That would be 1000 miles.

I would rather see you ridin your F-150 with the gun rack down Mosul-Baghdad Road whoopin and hollerin like Slim Pickens settin on that nuke in Dr. Strangelove (the movie that is).

You can have all the gung-ho, Biff and Scooter mentality from the fifties, accolades you want. I'll keep my skinny yellow ass here in the frigid midwest rather than participate in an unwarrented invasion of another country so that some criminal in DC can keep his job for another four years.

And what about Osama? Inquiring minds want to know? He's the issue not the made-for-tv invasion of another country created by corporate terrorists pulling the strings of your presidential puppet.

God where is Clinton when this country needs him!!! I'll answer my own question, probably getting a BJ from some fat jewish chick. Oh well, at least he's having a good time.

By the way, saw in another thread how you made the brilliant, well-reasoned statement who gives a rats ass about weapons of mass destruction. I thought that was your hero's basis for the invasion.

Once again, you must have supported the Japanese invasion of Pearl Harbor as that countrys legitimate response (we DID, in fact, have weapons of mass destruction) to the US pacific fleet build-up. Hell, those little slant eyed devils (no offense Channie) felt we were a threat to their national security.

Imagine that. Or are you too busy thinking up more rationalizations for your anti-american positions.

Ed So far you and DJV are the only ones who think WMD's were are primary objective for going to war. Could either of gather up a resource stating this beside opinion,if so I'll gladly debate but so far I have gave link after link of proof and the only thing the 2 of you have come up with is 3 letters of opinion.

and about my reading materials---I would venture to say I read data from more papers outside this country before you wake up than you do papers from this country all day.

If you'll note I started the thread on capture of Saddam within 11 minutes of the 1st post by any media (Reuters) was 4:30 am my time. Have posted supporting links from Aljezeera,Asin Free Press,China Daily and several others that you have never even heard of.
So spin that Mr Top.

Now I do apologize on questioning your courage as that was uncalled for:)

Actually I can see your dream team heading over there.
Lets see we have 2 planes. One filled with movie stars (human shields)
One with the dream team: which includes our infamous legal team Eddie,Cocran,Feldman and Gerigos(spl)

also on board are OJ,Micheal Jackson and Bill Clinton (character witnesses)
Sitting toward rear of plane is Jesse, the spiritual leader
Dean the physicain to report on physical abuse Bush inflicted on Saddam and Hilliary,The mystery person at this stage.

In Iraq court proceedings the dream team lets Edward handle the ball of wax. None other says a word. Proceeding are swift and Saddam is found quilty in short order BUT just as the word quilty comes out of judges mouth Gerigos throws appeal on desk stating grounds of incompetent legal council--Judges look and Edward and no one one objects.
Round 1 goes to Dream Team as Cocran gets change of venue to the 9th disrict court (the far lefts advocate)in US where the ACLU can aid in defence. Immediately Gerigos says they will have to sceen prospective jurers to make sure they have found some secluded enough to have never heard of Saddam so they can not be biased. After 2 years they finally find 12 but is delayed another 6 months when they find 4 of them were from Edwards immediate family. In the mean time Feldman trys to bargin with prosecuters and offers to have Saddam show them where 1,456,000 more bodies were buried in exchange for taking death penalty off the table. When prosecuters wouldn't budge they immediatly started pointing fingers that Saddam look alikes in fact committed these atrocities. All this including payment of all the experts they call plus there fees has already cost the tax payor more than total spent on rebuilding Iraq.
No question how the 9th will vote--but they are bitch slapped back into reality by the Supreme Court as usual.
It is now 2008 as this has drug on for 5 years but looks like Suddam has finally come to justice as the Supreme Court has spoken.
but not so fast. Remember this is "the Dream Team"
When all looks lost they pull now pull their mystery person Hilliary.
It is 2008 remember and Hilliary has been elected president and ironically 5 days prior to his death sentence being carried out and 2 weeks after receiving 2 billion from Saddam"s daughter for her library fund and purchase of 2 million books that never sold, low and behold she grants Suddam full pardon.
Justice from the left!
:tongue

Not bad, Dogs. I see you have potential.

On your initial point of the war wasn't really about weapons of mass destruction....... you are too beautiful, man....... Seriously, if you ever want to get out of the premium collecting business (notice how I never say claims paying business) you have to get a job in public relations. You are excellent at that.

First of all, I have neither the time nor inclination to surfing around the internet to find video, newsreports, etc wherein the prince of pennsylvannia avenue said this war was the enforcement of the UN sanctions against Iraq for failing to adhere to propostition whatever.

Although I believe my memory is getting shorter and shorter, as are other appendages on old Eddie, I do emphatically recall the US trying to get the UN to enforce its own resolution. That resolution dealt with UN inspectors looking for the good old balsa wood and rubber banded delivery system for all those chemicals and other nukes etc.

I do further recall the old Bushman addressing the nation with one of those "bring em on" speeches (or was it a "good riddance" speech I can't recall as the man is sooooo articulate) saying we had the good old evidence that this guy that everyone wants to hang was stockpiling these threats to humanity.

As I'm writing this, you know Dogs, you really, really are good at being a moving target. Although it does (and it shouldn't) amaze me how you shift your focus, spin your magic and now try to say that the war wasn't about weapons of mass destruction. Pray tell, Dogs, what was it about.

You see, what you can't accept, is that the criminal in the white house is nothing less than an out an out murderer. He committed American troops to an invasion of a country that posed no threat to the United States of America. Hitler did the same thing to Poland.

You can dress and spin this Texas hillbilly anyway you want but, he is nothing less than a murderer of military personal and civilians. We are the bullies on the block. His basis for the invasion was simply not there and now he and his henchmen are putting a humanitarian spin on the murder of people who are vastly different than the white anglo saxon majority who voted for this despicable human being.

Thats the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Hard to deal with and accept but, thats how low this country has evolved. Money calls the shots. Always has and always will be.

Nice world your republicans friends have set up.

I thought is was pretty good myself Edward Thank You--especialy if one has back round on attorneys noted.

By the way For the record insurances brokers don't collect premiums so I must assume from your constant remarks on that issue that your premiums must be collected thru debit agents--and that would stand to reason.

Question When catastrophe hits likes the CA fires this year that destroyed thousands of homes and billions of property damage--Who do you think the was the single most important person in these people lives--who do you think it was that put their lives back together--The fact of the matter is,only those with appreciable assets really comprehend the values of risk management.---and those that have nothing to lose----

Oh by the way I thought this part of Bush's speech yesterday might be of interset to you.
Just wanted to start your day with a :)

"Bush sounded a bit like a candidate giving a stump speech in his opening comments. He said the nation became "safer, more prosperous and better" this year and listed some of the things he hopes to accomplish next year, such as passage of energy policy changes and limits on medical liability lawsuits."

P.S. I see where 9th District Court is at it again trying to say it is unconstitutional to procecute those that aid and abet terrorist in the U.S.
Will give update later;) Don't have all the facts yet.

Dogs:

The most important person in the lives of those devastated by the fires in so cal you query. Obviously, the homeowners lawyers protecting the interest those whose lives were destroyed.

You see, Doggie my boy, about 100 miles or so up I-5 in the San Fernando valley a few years back that had what was called the Northridge earthquake. Equally devastating.

One of your principals, the good hands people of Allstate Insurance Company being, as you would put it, "... the most important person in their lives..." at the time sent out from Northbrook Illinoise their engineers to fairly and promptly pay the claims of the victims.

Only problem was the engineers hired by Allstate weren't engineers after all. They were employees of the "good hands people" who understated damages, invented pre-existing foundation problems and otherwise completely screwed the homeowners.

Its my understanding criminal indictments were issued to some higher ups in Allstate, you know, the most important person in the lives of the Northridge victims. You see, Dogs, the homeowners were not only victims of an earthquake but, were also victims of, as you put it, the most important person in their lives at the time.

By the way, are you suggesting that you, as the agent, do not get a piece of each renewal premium paid? Come on Dogs, not everyone on this board is as dumb as Dr. Freeze.

I remain, the most important person in your life,

Eddie

WHAT does collecting premiums have to do with receiving commissions on premiums. ???????

Fortunately "if" I keep people happy I wrote 25 years ago I still get paid on that business. That is how our businesses differ.
The better job and better service you provide the more you are rewarded. It is not a "I care about you--one shot snowjob where you take the money--give them the coupons and hope you never see them face to face again.

I am not familiar with your Allstate case but assume you are correct as I have had to call on the boys in a few cases myself when I thought things were not correct, but those times are infrequent but do exists and will continue to exists but I can guarantee you they those occurances are a drop in the bucket compared to fraud against insurance companys.

I did see one case of complaint in CA fires where man thought company carrying 3rd mortgage on his house was responsible for carrying insurance and also made note he lost all his lawn mowing equipment and explained to reporter it was new and he hadn't had time to get coverage. I wish I could have got his name for you, sounds like the clients you are looking for.

P.S. can you give me any specifics whatsoever on Allstate deal where a person could look it up. You have my curiousity now.
