ITS CALLED REVENGE

:nono:

Looking at the '05 season when an opponent is seeking revenge there were 16 WINNERS & 26 LOSERS = 41% vs the line.

HF 3-8 (27%)
HD & HP 5-9 (35%)
RF 1-0 (100%)
RD 8-9 (47%)

---------

IN '04

RF 6-4 (60%)
RD 11-5 (69%)
combined 17-9 (65%)

LY those setups went just the opposite: combined 11-17 (39%)

----------

through Nov 5 to Nov 26 '06

6-7 (46%) through Week 12.

========

Looking at these stats one can't put much, if any, emphasis on the Revenge Factor in the NFL.

sorry, Ray. This is Indy's year. Pats will not play in the Super Bowl. I repeat, Pats WILL NOT PLAY IN THE SUPER BOWL THIS YEAR.

If they did, millions of people would spontaneously throw up, subsequently flushing their toilets at the exact same moment, causing the planet Earth to spin off it's axis, causing mass catastrophe and destruction.

yes I believe thats what he is saying. Does the league want to see the Pats in the Superbowl again? I doubt it. Manning and the Colts would be the bigger draw. Now as far as the Saints are concerned, I agree it looks like a mojo placed on them to get to the Superbowl but thats usually worth fading as everyone will be thinking that way.
Revenge has nothing to do with it as explained by Senor cappers numbers. this isnt highschool.

It seems like most people want the Saints to win the Superbowl. There must have been millions of dollars placed on New Orleans to win the Superbowl when the playoffs started. Out of all the playoff teams, I would think most of the bets went on the Saints. If this is true, then Vegas will take a huge hit if the Saints do in fact win the Superbowl. If I were Vegas, I'd be payin' off some refs this weekend to make sure they don't beat Chicago. :scared
