Siena -2.5 over Canisius ***
Like the Saints to re-focus here and get there act together.Saints are coming off a Penn spanking at home.Worst loss in 8 yrs.Lanier even took out all his starters at once just before the half.It didn't work.The good news is Haddix is back even though they have lost 2 games with him.But he was 75%,then 90% and today about 95%.They need him.W/o him they have no inside presence.Jordan has been in a big time slump.But 2 games ago vs Marist he played like the old Jordan.But he's back into his funk.Mitchell the same.McClinton the freshman has taken over at the pt.He's tough.Kojo the other super frosh might not play today.But Taj Fisher the kid from my area should get more playing time.He led all scorers with 13 vs Penn..He's the all time 3 pt shooter in NY.Great player at Kingston.Had 37 pts vs my school lyr.Our coach didn't want to box and one.Thats why I keep quite in row 6.

But there is good news.Canisius is 0-5 away ats.Lyr Saints beat the Griffs 78-72 in Albany and 63-59 away.Griffs have won 3 of last 4 but they have been at home.They beat Iona,St Pete and Brown at home.Doss and Downey have been playing good.Downey has been awesome.Avg 20 pts 6 bds and 5 or 6 assits.If I had time I'd tell a great story about his father.Great HS coach from upstate.Always will remember what he did to me yrs ago.He passed away of cancer a few yrs ago.Great guy.He'd be pretty proud of his son today. And Doss played for my one of my best friends at LaSalle in Niagara.
Anyway think the Blue and Gold are in trouble on the road today.Fans booed Lanier and left early in the Penn game.Think that doesn't happen today.
Manhattan -8 over Peter *
MC has some major problems.There entire front line fouled out vs Iona and Jenkins had 30 pts.Peter doesn't have any post players.MC gds are quick and can neutralize Clark.RJ and Dubois inside might do some damage.But Jaspers are way overated.Think matchups are to there likings.They do play solid defense but I cannot understand why everyone doesn't put 5 guys in the paint and let Wingate and Minor shoot.Marist gave those two open 20 footers.Not a defender 5 ft from them.If Lekie called me and said he was going to do that I'd take the +8 in a minut.
Rider -10 over Loy Md *
Even though they only beat Loy by 4 and this game is in Albany I think the loss to fairfield gets this team motivated.JJ still not playing like he should.Think on the big court with ESPN Johnson goes off.
Tenn Chat -2 over Geo Southern **
Still hurting from last weeks Mocs loss not covering.Kat,Brown and Pugh can score.Geo So can't play any defense.
OK St -1.5 over Texas **
Spent a lot of time on this game.Think UT in trouble.Not sure of status of AlRidge but I don't think it matters.I'll take Lucas over the frosh and OSU frontline.
FIU -2.5 over North Texas *
NT is so explosive with its 2 gds that can stick the 3.They play 8 or 9 guys all 6'6.But they cannot play a lick of defense.Esp on the rd.In last 6 games they have given up 79,69,72,85 and 86 pts.FIU defense held denver to 63 and went to Ark and played Little rock and State and held them to 60 and 67.FIU can't shoot.But Almante does everything.Matias and N'diaye can score in double figures.
Yest won on a small play with BC and lost on a bigger play with XU.
