I really like the saints today. I have watched Cam Newton and his throwing mechanics are all off. He has tremendous talent, but right now he is very poor. Normally I play these divisional games to be closer, but the Saints coming off a road win in Pittsburgh (somethig they aren't supposed to do) might be the spark for this team to play closer to the level expected preseason. I think they build off this win and the Panthers are the perfect follow up team to build momentum.

Saints - 9.5 my best bet today

They may have a slightly better D 20+ yard diff however when you factor in special teams, Cam Newton, a key RB out and Greg Olson probable who will likely play hurt I have a hard time backing Carolina if i played the game.

The Saints are not world beaters at home as they used to be but after a big road win last week still in playoff contention and getting a beat up Carolina team at home who has lost 6 straight and only been inside this number twice in those 6 losses, the only play for me would be the Saints if any.

Line is down to 8 so it seems many are backing the Panthers. Think they are buying fool's gold though.

Good news is they didn't turn the ball over on their 3rd drive and only down 17
